Chris Hall a tiger..?

I hear that Glenelg were able to find a few more $$$'s than South, even at this late stage to secure his services.

Former panther who was on the power list and may have played a handful of AFL games IIRC.

I know he went to Perth but not sure what club, he may have been with Aiden Parker, if that helps.

1. Not sure who this Chris Hall is but he hasn't been seen at Glenelg training (no one new there tonight). So are you sure it is us???

2. B&W, Glenelg missed out on a few recruits who we were chasing so not all our $$$$ were spent if we have been talking to any late recruits (having viewed your football managers comments on Panthertalk). So we have a few sheckles left ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Have a mate close to things at the Bay and he tells me Hall wasn't ever going anywhere else - didn't even go to the interview with South, so keen was he to move to the Bay Oval, sorry, Gliderol Stadium. Reckon Southies would be a bit p'ed off to hear that, given he was originally from the Panthers.

Maybe the "sheckles" paying for Hall came out of the same brown paper bag that Grima's did? There were that many hands under the table with that deal that people thought everyone had a shoelace undone! Seems the accountants at Glenelg are a little better at hiding the bodies than we were at The Parade...

Would be a handy inclusion for the tigers...

From the West Australian

14th March 2009, 12:00 WST

Subiaco have suffered a significant blow a week from the WAFL season, with Simpson medallist Chris Hall deciding to return to Adelaide for family reasons.

Hall, 27, was a star in last season’s grand final when his prolific ballgathering and superb kicking played a key role in Subiaco beating Swan Districts to complete a hat-trick of premierships.

His decision to return to Adelaide has left Subiaco without four members of the powerful midfield group that has dominated the WAFL since early in the decade.

if true a great pick up to add strength to the midfield although i think a key defender would be a better option

Would have loved to see him back at the club, yet I do recognise that the major cancer in the playing group when Robert Pyman was sacked from the club was players that played at the club but did not give a stuff about playing for the jumper of the club. If he wants to be at the Bays then that is where he should be as if the SAFC made some type of increased offer to him, I feel we will have actually lost more than we have gained as a result and be moving back to the previous situation that we have worked so hard to try and correct in recent times with our focus on developing our zone players.

very important pick up if true. When will know if he has been picked up. Would he play in the league side straight away or have a run in the reserves?

Are you sure that he played for Springvale in 1997-98. That would have made him 15 in 1997, and his family have always lived in Adelaide as far as I am aware.

I think that you have the wrong Christopher P Hall with respect to Springvale,
