was the B grade ruckman for us all last year, he is only just 18.
is playing reserves tonight against Norwood
lets hope he has a good game and he can stay out there and maybe get a league game eventually!
even though it would be handy to have him in our side!

Just spoke to the young lad, and he is pretty pumped.

Great lad, and has fantastic potential.

Its a fair jump to be playing D4 ressies one year at Port Reserve, to playing SANFL ressies at Norwood Oval the next !!!

Matt only played 1 A grade game last year - round 1 vs Fitzroy. Perko and Ali were the A grade ruckman last year, both under 21. Ali gone back to West Croydon, but still have Perko. Matt would have been good for us as a replacement, but hope he does well at Port.

so all preseason finished how is everyone looking at this stage.

smosh had 2 pre season games. long opre season all the lads looking forward to the first game. should be a good year with a lot of close games i would think. my tips for finals would be

old iggies: whiteman, thys and if rolfe comes back big force
walkerville: classy side always around the mark
Smosh: should be around the mark a big physical side, cakebread a maybe along with kluzek.

then very close for the rest, to close to call so early
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Ex. Norwood, West utility Abraham Tomich will be playing with Iggies this year which should bolster them a bit if he plays the entire season. He is known for going walk about though. Club will do well if they can get him to hang around for the entire season.

Aba

Showed up at the Raggies last season,I think he only played a game or two before injury struck. was wondering when he was going to get around to going back to wear the old school tie.

Aba struggles with injury, so I don't think Iggies will get too many games out of him. Will be handy for them if he manages to string a few together though.

We played them in a trial on Saturday

General consensus was that they were top 4 material.
Henry Hardy kicked 4 - led strongly
McLachlan didn't play.
Beinke played - looks fitter than when he was at Port
Benet Copping - dont know how he ever got drafted...........
