Proud club, strong club, should have taken the bull by the horns, heck we did, and it was only to stay in div 4, althought all those lads have left now, SMOSH are good enought to keep them? Aren't they?

I agree RM
they should have stayed up, least the blokes are playing the best footy they can!
Kilburn have and will probs struggle but they I think they have done the right thing!!
whats to say if SMOSH had of stayed up they wouldnt have won more games??
u hae got a few new blokes, had a tough pre season, no major injuries
nothing would have been stopping u from being competitive in div 2!

the club was not financial enough to stay up. if we played div 2 this year the club would be in a lot of trouble off the field

Softball/Baseball not bringing in enough coin? maybe time to go soccer or rugby and ditch the Baseball club like you guys did to the cricket club![/quote]

where are the new blokes from, i have not seen them at training. i would love cricket to be played there.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Solly trained the other night, not 100% sure if he committed or not.

RedMagpie wrote:also just on the phone now to a reliable source, there are three fellow rangers looking in good fitness and form this year! Can we have clarification from a Salisbury source?
There are some rangas looking good, I am however not one of them. We as a group were tempted to pull out of the trial last week as 30 degrees with lots of sun is a death trap for us and a late withdrawal was on the cards. ;)

My tips:
Salisbury v Old Ignatians
Portland v Para Hills
SMOSH West Lakes v Scotch OC
St Peter's OC v Woodville South
Mitcham v Walkerville

Who got offended ? :?

And why wouldn't i take interest in the A grade side ?

If you hung around one club long enough Steve, you might realise that some people are involved in the WHOLE club - they are not just interested in how much cash/free drinks they can suck out it... 8)

With the team you are associated with Red, you would be an expert on pretenders...

Only thing im confident of is that it will be tough as all hell on Saturday. Para Hills have the wood on us, and have had for some time.

I get the feeling a bit of 'first round' nerves are starting to appear amongst a few threads... after a summer spent crapping on about nothing, finally the first game is amongst us and sphincters are pulsating !!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling !! (the first game that is.... not the pulsating sphincter...) :D
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I had the misfortune of sharing a room with young Tom on our recent trip to Kadina - he is one loose individual !!!

Im sure there will be no issues with clearing Tommy, he hasnt left there with any ill-feeling.
