I heard both Humphrey and Corey want to get their hands on the #37 too ??? Could be a bit of push and shove.....

Did you only get there at half time Johno ??

I heard you aren't getting the number you want because you will be suiting up in the Magoos before too long ??? ;)

Now that the last training is out of the way, and team selections are done - all pumped for round 1! Bring it on Plympton - Can't wait!!!

Was good to get a first win on the board yesterday, but the old body is sore today!

Ended being fairly one sided game in the end but there were patches in the game that Fitzroy mached us, do have to say that they have a fairly ordinary ump for them, not really even one sided on thier account just plain ordinary. Dont think he played a holding the ball decision all day even the obvious ones went begging!

I think that Fitzroy will get stronger as the year goes on.

you guys are a great outfit- i'd imagine not too many changes from last years GF side?
Well disciplined, run in numbers, drop back to space.
Our side isn't quite the same side that played finals last year, so we're starting from scratch in a sense.
Very happy with our 3rd quarter.
I doubt we would've got within 10 goals of you with our "best side" anyway.
Also very happy that the Roy Boys didn't drop their heads & resort to whinging at the umpires (backchat etc)- a tad harder to keep it zipped when your getting pumped.

I think e had about 7 from last years GF side, having the boys from the B grade helped a great deal, not sure how long they will stay down once the season settles in and selections are made from form rther than trial form. You would expect a few changes in the next couple of games. Cant hurt us either way to be honest. We have a few GF players kicking around in the D grade at present also so thngs are looking good.
