My butcher :shock:

Just got back from what should have been a mundane trip to the shops. Bitterly cold wind blowing in off the sea...got to the butchers totally chilled to the bone and he says 'wait there, I've just the thing for you' and disappears into the cutting room. I wait nervously trying to think of how I can politely refuse a kilo of calves brains or whatever.

He reappears with several kilos of 'John'...his apprentice who I'm told will give me a cuddle to help keep me warm :d It was more of a smother than a cuddle...he must have been at least 6'5 and I had flat shoes on but it was not at all unpleasant O:-) you don't get that kind of service in Tesco's.

I'm going to have to go through my AWW's now and find some more meat dishes that I simply must cook next week :-" So girls...forget the supermarkets...support your local shops...definitely worth the effort :D
