FS, don't try and shift the focus to another clubs facilities. even you would have to admit that MFC changeroom is way below any standard let alone what should be D1 standard

went in there last night after training and there is nothing wrong with them.... fresh carpet on the fllor nice and pleanty of room, bench seats and 4 rub down benches.... what more do you want.

FS - i reckon key to change rooms is space and MFC ones are possibly roomiest in SAAFL. Most players are not fussed with beautiful new paint on walls....as long as hot water still runs after an away win!!

Exactly at once stage there was some wet carpet which stunk a bit but other than that they are not bad.... it just happened to be the precious ones who played us that day at the hawks nest.

No doubt about it, footy is buzzing at the moment. I dont know if it is just me or is football for some reason just seem to be better this year. already everyone is so amped and excited about it. i personally have not been this excited about a footy season before and i am not sure if everyone is the same but to me it looks like everyone i stoked that its back. Even in AFL, everyone seems so pumped that its back. my theory is that everyone is thinking about the future with the economic crisis or other issues and footy seems to blind us from it, when playing there is nothing else that matters for the two hours we are out there. when watching, any other conversation or commitment atomatically gets put on the back burner when footy is on. It is like our happy place or therapist or something. Even weddings ( a life long commitment of love????? won't be scheduled during footy season by a player or fan) I find it funny and exciting that a game can have so much meaning and hold such a place in so many peoples hearts that i am declaring Australian Rules Football a religion.
(if only i had the power to do that officially)

I was in there as well mate and I don't know what everyone goes on about either. They're a bit old, but there is enough room for everyone to get changed, showers are good, I've always thought Modbury's changerooms were a lot better than some others around the place.

Shrek had a horror game against the mighty tigers. Gave away free kicks, caught holding the ball and was caught out of position. Not a good start by Shrek

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Looking through the results from all grades, it appears that quite a few of the clubs who were of the opinion that they"could take Rome with a popgun" have been shaken back to some form of reality.

good start for EP in div 2.
SAAFL site had the scores back to front, A's won by 19 or so points but the B's got a bit of a touch up, well done to Dusty & the boys.

Can anyone confirm this...great win for EP if that is the case...on the hallowed turf that is heritage listed (according to AU team manager a few years ago).
