Played Smithfield 3 times whilst playing at plympton in 07, ALL games were decent games. the first was at smithfield and they destroyed us. But then we returned the favour at the return match at plympton, and then we beat them at their ground in the semi. But they are a decent team.

As for hope valley beating my former club, well done. Looks like you guys might do well. As for plympton im sure that wont hurt them and they will be there for the whole season.

FYI that term is a common refrerence to that suburb to us Northern locals! Go for a drive around Smithfield and Smithfield Plains and ul know why! lol

Will be more carefull before commiting to sponsorship again. Don't accuse someone of being full of it unless you know the facts. Stick to your own clubs perfect little world

So these two guys were sponsored last year, but this year have walked out on their club to play one division higher. Where is the loyalty. Sounds like poor form all round to me.

To play a better standard is the story, 1 grade higher  , if they really wanted to test themselves surely a move to a div 1 club (several in the area) would have been the better option ;)[/quote]

lets go boys... maybe they walked out on their club because the powers that be have killed the club..... they might have gone 1 division higher but they are at a club that is a good chance of being div 3 next year (definately still div 4) and not gaureenteed relegation to div6 and just go and find out the best players at pooraka today and have a look at Ingle Farms effort. 2 great kids and players, don't bag them. you should have done more to keep them coach. i heard at presentation tonight you wern't too disappointed with todays effort, gee they've picked a good one this year. look out for the mass exodus after a couple more results like that. good luck to you all.

Ingle Farm started a 17 year old onballer on him, so no wonder he kicked 14. coach mustn't have rated him or doesn't watch too much afl

plympton will be right in it up to there necks come the season end. talented group, bit of height, excellent ruckman and run ball well. missed some crucial set shots with breeze in third quarter. great game following on from 2 good curtain raisers. thanks to the 10 or so plympton players and support staff who came up for a drink. we will return the compliment in round 10
