Kilburn v Broadview should win by 6-8 goals
PHOS v Flinders Pk 5+ goals
Adelaide Uni v Eastern Pk upset, only because Uni won't know alot about them being new to Div2.
Payenham v Seaton heart says Seaton but Payenham needs to start well & should win home 24pts.

Great work No Mercy....upset is on the cards,,,

But did he look good and all muscled up after his massive preseason, that he had to start a thread about so he could tell us all how big and strong he is????

Scores were wrong way around...A's score was in the B's, B's score was in the A's.

Awesome start to the season for the Eastern Park Demons. First ten minutes the umpires based their decisions on reputation and we got murdered but after they realised the footy was our first priority they were ok.

The boys were pretty excited to win our first game in div 2 but dissapointed to see the B's go down by so much. Uni b garde would have to win the flag surely.

Interesting to see the other new comers to div 2 didn't get off to such a great start. i think my prediction from early on will be around the money....EP, Uni, Payneham, Phos, Broadies and Athelstone to fight it out for the top five with Flinders and Seaton competitive and Pembroke and Kilburn to make up the numbers unfortunately.
Harsh but fair.....

Thanks for the appraisal mate. Gave away one free kick. Obviously you were too pissed to watch the game properly.

Is that because you were drinking all the beer that Broadview were selling to their supporters next to the coach's box?

Good work by the Broadies boys to come in for a beer afterwards. The game was actually reasonably close. We were four goals down in the last quarter before Broadies kicked away.

Broadview were selling beer outside our licensed area to their people. We spoke to their secretary who said there was nothing he can do about it. To start this CRAP when so many clubs are struggling for a dollar and relying on home games for income is unsportsmanlike. Maybe we should get out KDF supoporters booze van and park it in Broadies car park when we play them and sell cheap grog? Not in the spirit Broadview! Congrats to the players though who all came in for a quick beer after the game.

No I wasn't drunk you just played badly and were out of position and unfit.

Lets just get the point straight all clubs bring beer to other grounds for their supporters as some clubs way over charge for a can.

Are you condoning this then Fourth Estate. If you are, that is absolute crap. Do you go to McDonalds on the way there as well? If you expect the opposition to support your home games, the least you can do is support theirs.

Fourth Estate you are trying to defend the undefendable. Make sure we have a good spot in your car park with the mound mens bus when we play there. Cheap beer too I might add. Obviously by your previous statement you won't mind, thats great.

They struggled we probably had them covered on the day. Seem a young side and they willl need to adapt to a higher level. You never write anyone off though things weren't clicking for them on the day.

As much as that is true, might wanna check your facts on that occasion, that was Uni's 100 year celebration and was held on a Sunday, conditions were granted for such a set up as the crowd was going to be huge and it was a return favour for us agreeing to having the game on a Sunday. We got belted that day anyways.

The only thing Broadview lacks, is Paris Fowden
That would get their average age up to an even 32
