Well done boys.
Might just say also the service in the canteen needs to improve a bit ;)

And the A grade runner either needs to get a tan on those legs - or where trackies!!

I reckon those legs may have had more kicks today than a certain SD ;)

Great work Demons. Against all the odds...apparently! As Bartman said. Underestimate us at your peril. Hope Valley will be competitive in this div, and showed that today after Plympton talked themselves up! All 3 grades had a win. Great work boys!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Old Farmer i think your being a tad harsh. Sure IF didn't play the best but full credit to Pultney, they ran hard, hit hard, hit targets and really controlled the game well.

They were a very fit side but also had decent size to them as well both physically and height wise, as you know its what IF lack.

IF endevour and fight for the ball was 2nd to none and fought well alll day i thought. The younger kids Belczacki, Sanderson, Jones, Tremain i thought held their own very well and were pleasing signs.

As for the move to put Tremain on Perrie well i personally didnt think it was a bad move, we lack height and Ryan is a good height but also athletic enough to provide the best contest, Perrie is an ex-AFL player playing divvy 5 mate you would expect him to dominate. If your gonna sit here all year and bag IF maybe you should take your comments else where?

We (Adel Luth) played Pulteney in a trial game last week, and they were fantastic!
Some big bodies in the middle (Margo, and the coach, Silvy are two) and they were fit and skills were superb. That was without Perrie and Bassett!!!
If Perrie doesn't kick 100+ this year there's something wrong, he was in the SANFL team of the year!! SANFL reserves players usually dominate Div 5.
I would be very surprised personally if Pulteney are troubled all year. Might be a close game or two, might even drop a game or two, but from what I've seen, should storm thru Div 5.

blacks to good today v kookas..gave them a 4 goal start and we couldnt reel it in and get ahead

Ingle Farm started a 17 year old onballer on him, so no wonder he kicked 14. coach mustn't have rated him or doesn't watch too much afl[/quote]

Well he kicked 7..
Let's be very clear. Pulteney will hand out some massive beltings to sides this year..
There is no doubt that IF are in for a long year..
To see some of the lads back there on saturday night for presentations was like watching the under 17 awards..
They are kids..
Sometimes clubs need to bottom out to move forward..
No doubt IF are rock bottom!!
Real clubmen will stick by them and give them support to give it their best shot.
If that still ends up relegation then so be it..
Let the kids have a crack in a healthy off field environment..

Well said mate. Good luck to Farmers, never easy copping a loss like that first up and easy to say but i hope that the club stays strong and has a good 2-5 year plan in place as that is how long it could take.

Got to see the kookas in action saturday arvo.

Was a fairly close contest, Kenilworth had a few moments where they went missing and blackfriars took full advantage getting those couple in front and was enough to hold them off.

Might need to get Big Brian "The Bristler" Taylor down there to take goal kicking - Josh STEFANS from 30 out, not making the distance (pressure from behind the goals) & the big fella no. 23 playing on from on the ground and not getting it through, kicked about 6 for day though, great hands on him.

really hope Ingle Farm can turn it around but i think they should be focusing on the future, plus its good experience for a young fella to play on perrie even if he had seven goals kicked on him, it will make him a better player and to be honest seven goals isnt really that much from an ex afl/sanfl player.
