well its all over 4 st pauls. 2 finish 2nd and then go out in straight sets must have st pauls coach pulling his hair out. watched the blacks - wingies game. have to admit that this is a strong unit and are clearly favourite 4 this years premiership. wingies - houghton game should be a ripper but i reckon wingies will have another crack at blacks in 2 weeks

Nostradamus

Postby The Real Number 3 » Sun Sep 03, 2006 2:17 pm

If you look back to one of the first div 7 threads I predicted St Pauls wont make the GF.... and I also tipped Wingies for a berth in the GF...... looking forward to see if I am right about the 2nd Prediction.... If so i shall change my name to Nostradamus :D

Good Luck Wingfield!!!

bad luck about the result yesterday riddler.any reason for the deafet?. do you think you guys dropped of a bit towards the end of the season?.like to no your thoughts.was at centrals last night talking to a mate and he had a mate there as well, the guy was duncs7 ! was a pisser to chat to him.hope wingies can get over houghton and have another go at friars.dutchy watched the friars game and thought there was about 7 players for friars that he had never seen before!

only 2 blokes that didn't play against paralowie this year. might have been the m&m blue clash jumper we had to wear that made it look like there were some unfamiliar faces out there.

houghton v wingies should be a good one. could the raiders come from 5th to play in the GF. i reckon houghton might get up.

Credit to our blacks boys we played some quality football on the weekend with all 22 contributing to the win we deserved! An excellent win by houghton well done! looks like big starry had a good day out! Can they carry on good form that is the question!! Still fancy wingies but it's finals time and anything happens!

i would love for us to play houghton in the gf for 2 reasons. 1 for revenge, 2 so we dont have to wear that clash kit thing. Wingies have a good coach i think he will get them up but they left the field looking pretty shattered on sat.

Thought i better front up...I'm a shattered man!

Can't explain what happened because i don't know....We kicked the first 3 goals into a breeze which was worth about 5 or 6 but after that they dragged us back in....I know the chokers tag will come out but the fact is we did and didn't Starr let us know about it.

Well done Blacks well deserved you've achieved your goal of going to Div 6 all the best.....Hope Wingfield smash Houghton and I reckon they will.

Blacks v Wingfield final....Blacks by 6 goals

mmmm starr was sure lucky that one number 11 (kellsy) for us did not hit him after the game sure saw him pull back from smashing him, maybe next year when the two teams match up he wont be so lucky as kellsy usually doesnt show to must self restraint or consceince when it come to the dirty stuff

He put the target on your head? Not sure about that...might have been the little bit of "niggle" between you and the Wingfield chap...(BTW,good stuff)
