Goodies, Henley and Gepps the other money kings might be harder. Tough to compete with clubs chucking round 2K to sign on and 500 a game like Gepps. Good to get an idea what they pay out at that crap hole from Steedy and Carts. Wish they would fix up slosh hole of any oval first. At least Goody, Henley, S/North ovals are OK

Why dont ya come and stand with me and my mates and they will show what ferral park is

dont know who this District Boy sounds like a smart bloke. Why dont u talk about how PDFC won on the weekend when no-one wouldve picked them to get up. Sailsbury Nth oval is ok, unless its been raining, just like any other oval.

You reckon no-one gave Districts a chance against Gaza?? Who are you kidding?? That is exactly what we want all year - the underdog title!!

Gaza on the other hand appear to have let slip their window of opportunity to win an A1 flag in the immediate future. A 2 goals lead and 3/4 time only to let it slip - ouch that is got to hurt!!

Next week against Salisbury Nth - PDFC will well and truly undedogs. But hey that doesn't bother us. 2009 sees a group of young kids having a crack in the PDFC jumper.

Bring on the rain so the PDFC mosquito fleet can kick in...

Rumour has it that they didn't have a trial game this season and it showed in the game against Ports.
They will get better before the seasons over.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Can the Districts boys win 2 in a row and prove the supposed experts wrong??

A big game away to Salisbury North on Sat, and although PDFC has a good record overall against the Hawks, we have always had trouble out at "Pokie Heaven"....

You talking bout Gaza here?
if so the rumour is wrong
i know they played a game against a Pt Pirie team
they have a small alliance with the Northern Demons Soccer club in Pirie which was how this game came about

i think the Districts lads get a bit lost on a big ovals / changerooms / warmup areas and more modern infrastructure. Paying the price for having a mini league oval for a home ground.. Be a tough game for both sides..

More modern infrastructure? The changerooms? The warm up area? You have to be kidding Mr Winger??

When was a game won or lost in the clubrooms or the changerooms or the warm up areas?? Perhaps yes a bigger oval can be an advantage to a team - but not clubrooms/changerooms/warm up areas.

If that was the case then Goodwood would not have won 4 flags on the trot - because their facilities (clubrooms/changerooms/warm up areas) are not the most modern. Nor is their oval any bigger than Largs - that hasn't seemed to bother them. This disproves your theory!!

By the way Winger - as for Salisbury North Oval - the changerooms are made our of besser blocks (hardly modern building), the changerooms are as small if not smaller than Gaza/TTG, the warm up facility a small school oval suitable for (to use your analogy) mini league, the main playing oval at Salisbury Nth has a dirt covered cricket pitch in the middle (sub standard) and the siren is "air attack" warning device.

If these are what you call modern facilities - then you need to get out of the Northern suburbs more.

This is not the reason why PDFC have struggled at Salis Nth over the years - perhaps granted it's just the big oval.

As much as i hate to agree with The naked gun if theres one thing that gets me about Salisbury North
its the facilities for the football club
No 1 there is no football club ( its a great community club ) being a supporter is not easy when the club wants the players to
go home asap after a game and you feel envious of clubs like gepps and henley who have great facilities
and seem to have great times back at the club when the games finished
And they also have things for the kids to do which makes it easy to have a few beers and talk about the game and get to know the other supporters and players
