Top, by a mile... ;)

No, seriously, i dont know much about the other D3 sides. I can only compare to what D3 was like when we were last in it, 4 years ago.

Using that as my 'standard', i would think top 2-3. But i could be very wrong, its only round 1 !!!

All i know is that they were a very skilful, hard running team. And we were ordinary.

I thought Hanson played well, and was dominant early - think he kicked 2 of Para Hills first 3 ??? He was all over his first opponent, but i thought Granleese broke even, if not got slightly the better of him, once he was switched to him. It looked as though early on Hanson would kick a big bag, but was held to 3. I thought our defenders did an 'ok' job to restrict them to 16 goals, especially seeing how much ball actually went down there. Goodwin cut us to absolute ribbons, thought Jarvis played well too.

Hanson kicked 3 goals 5 behinds 2 out of bounds and had a fair few assists..
Its fair to say he had the better of his opponent/s saturday, he jus failed to capitalise on the scoreboard..
There was atleast 5 or 6 off the top off my head that were missing from saturday and 2-3 will walk straight into the A's..
The others played majority in the A's last year but will most probably make there way back in the 2's

I knew he missed a few, and he definately played well. Once Granleese went on to him though, he had someone who could, at the very least, match it with him physically in the air. He is very strong in that regard. To only kick 1 goal in 3 and-a-bit quarters, when you guys were so dominant, is disappointing for a forward, i would have thought. Anyway, all very minor details. You blokes got the points, and gave us a footy lesson.

Im just trying to find some kind of small positives, out of a very ordinary day. :(

i think you will find that 10 shots on goal and a few assists for others is a VERY dominant day. to only kick 1 goal in 3 and a bit quarters is a great sign for any team when they win by 94 points, that the main target up front didnt get the goal return that many may have thought he would, shows evenness and other avenues to goal for para hills that oppositions cannot just look at one player to stop, a sign of a good strong TEAM.

I definitly didnt have the best of games i have no idea what went wrong all i no is goal kicking practice for me and nath this week, but as a team we definitly played well and with prob 3-4 to come into the A grade there will be some unlucky ones to drop out, Its gonna be a hard one for beery and charlts and browne with 8 A/B graders due to return next game. but good signs for us this year with alot of depth.

As i said, you were VERY dominant early and definately made our coaching staff swing a change early. We had to move our best player and captain on to you.

You guys probably only had one shortfall - ruck. Our ruckman did well, and he is no giant. Im guessing some of the other D3 sides will have bigger ruckman. It really didnt matter about the ruck anyway, as Goodwin pounced on everything, no matter who tapped it down.

That was a good mark by the way...

That bloke was just in the right spot for that grab. I was just quite disappointed in my efficency which is usually not to bad but hope to turn that round against smosh. Think we will have the ruck thing sorted out soon, I thought our ruck did alot of good things around the ground though pushing back into packs. Goody found touch which is gonna be huge for us this year he was a little off last year

Perhaps if the coach coached instead of Mouthing of at opposition supporters the team may have had some direction......

Perhaps if opposition supporters had enough courage to stand with the rest of the crowd around by the clubrooms, there wouldn't be any issues in the first place...

Standing behind opposition coaches boxes, taking pot shots at blokes trying to do their job is very poor form. Its gutless in fact. I actually saw the Para Hills coaching staff cringing at how certain members of their crowd were carrying on.

Good, hard footy side and, being first round, hard to gauge where they will sit in the scheme of things. I would take a guess though and say they are in it right up to their eyeballs.

Their B grade was good too, we stayed with them for nearly 3 quarters but they were by far the more skilled team on the day. I thought we had a crack, which was the only thing that kept us in it so long.

Yes they looked good arriving at the ground on Saturday comments both teams supporters were positive

I think the only party going on is in your head Jimmy_041. Para hills supporters can be loud, and some comments over the top, but no more so than other clubs. To say they are the worst in the league is to say that your coment is the worst to be ever posted.
