Are you kidding me ever been to a Eastern Park game ???

Good point - no

Must have been a party when you played each other

I think the only party going on is in your head Jimmy_041. Para hills supporters can be loud, and some comments over the top, but no more so than other clubs. To say they are the worst in the league is to say that your coment is the worst to be ever posted.

Well, we're all entitled to an opinion - let's see how many times the issue is raised during the season - you're batting at 1.000 at the moment

And let's see how many times a college side raises it. Toughen up.

See, we can all play the stereotype game!

Actually, it wasn't originally raised by me and has nothing to do with stereotypes or I would have had to make it a general comment.

from what i saw they struggle with big bodies but will still be ok. there b grade looked older and more mature. Dare say it will take them a few weeks to gel. They will still beat sides at there home ground.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Perhaps if the coach coached instead of Mouthing of at opposition supporters the team may have had some direction......
Perhaps if opposition supporters had enough courage to stand with the rest of the crowd around by the clubrooms, there wouldn't be any issues in the first place...

Standing behind opposition coaches boxes, taking pot shots at blokes trying to do their job is very poor form. Its gutless in fact. I actually saw the Para Hills coaching staff cringing at how certain members of their crowd were carrying on.
Now that everyone knows opposition supporters standing near your coach's box puts you off. I'm sure all clubs will use it to their advantage. I reckon the only cringing being done would have been because of the standard of football your boys produced. 8) 8)

If you think thats an advantage, then good luck to you...

Its a fantastic plan, Mitcham supporters used it to great effect last year...

Fact - Para Hills officials extremely embarrassed about some of their crowd comments (only a minority, not all). I don't agree that Para Hills crowd is anywhere near the worst in the SAAFL, by the way. It just looks silly when the club is trying to look and act professional (which they did, player and staff wise), and a handful of idiots with 3 beers-worth of courage carry on like pork-chops. No problems at all with footy banter and a bit of heckling, but when comments are being said about doing things to daughters/kids/wives, its going too far and you are going to get a reaction. If you want to say those things, go stand around with the other supporters and at least be accountable for what you say. It reflects bad on the club when you are standing metres from your coaching staff as well. I know i hate any of our supporters standing near our box, swearing and carrying on. They are quickly told to move on.

I bet Walkies, SMOSH, SPOC, Iggies and the other contenders would all love to hear that Para Hills supporters think they have the flag in the bag after round 1.

Theres your problem....... Perhaps you should be watching the game instead of the opposition coach. although you could probably learn alot from him....... 8) 8)

Must have plenty of money to pay for all of the fines

Para Hills FC, championship club 2007, not one fine, reported player for the year, no fines in 2008. Unfortunately when you play triple headers some of the "C" grade players hit the piss a bit early, and can be a bit over the top. Dont judge a club on the antics of a few supporters. The Para Hills Football Club takes great pride in the way it conducts its self, on and off the field. And before Pag gets on and rubbishes what i've said, I must admit it is a bit different when we play Salisbury. We have a strong rivalry with them but still respect them as a club.

I'll concede I haven't been out there since 2006, and I'll come out to watch a game this year because, by the sounds of it, you could be up there.

That's a good record in 2007. What about 2000 - 2006? 2008?

We had a pretty ordinary year in about 2004 I think, so the club introduced penalties to players who were either sent off or reported. That worked well, and to further improve our discipline the playing group themselves introduced fines for 25 metre penalties, and they also had to come off if they gave one away. We still have a fine system in place for any misdemeaners on the field as well as penalties for breaking club rules.

I'm not gonna bag anything you've said mate, I've never had any problems with Para Hills supporters. I cop my share, but I give it out too, so it's all fair, play on. I really enjoy the atmosphere of the supporters when we play you guys. Should be even better on ANZAC Day. The respect goes both ways.

As four our game on the weekend, think Carlton v Richmond from a couple of weeks ago and that's about what you'd get. Iggies moved the footy really well by foot, our disposal was absolutely horrible, and they made us pay. We can't play any worse than what we did, hopefully next week against Woody South we can go some way to redeeming ourselves.

From what i was told, Woody South were unlucky not to beat SPOC. They aren't the easybeats that a lot of people have said they will be.

So, are you saying they ARE easybeats ? Interesting, seeing Salisbury are playing them in round 2.

Listing 'North Haven' as your club on the left isn't fooling anyone by the way... ;)
