blacks to good today v kookas..gave them a 4 goal start and we couldnt reel it in and get ahead

old farmer..how did basset and perrie play?

Ingle Farm started a 17 year old onballer on him, so no wonder he kicked 14. coach mustn't have rated him or doesn't watch too much afl

The coach put ryan tremain on perrie and need i say that whilst he was on him in the first quarter only kept perrie to scoreing 1 point if i remember correctly but the we needede his skills in the middle thats when perrie started to let loose. ;)

In all honesty i think perry would have brushed me off like a fly lol (theres not much of me) if tremain had of stayed on him the whole game i think that he would have shut him down pretty well but we will see.

Good, if you like em so much, you can run water for 3 games instead of drinking piss in Magoos corner then :(

We only drank there for the 1 game FC. I played the first, and ran water for the second. Surely I deserve a drink after that.... ;)
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Has much been said about the Elizabeth and Westminster result?

I was really surprised to see Westminster lose this game....

How can anyone stop Pultney in this Div!!? I know its only 2 players, but... good luck!

I reckon the only thing that might have caught up with them was lack of match fitness, having played no trial games.

In saying that, they can't afford to give the other clubs too much of a head start.

Westminster have played no trial matches so Saturday was their first hit out for 2009

Basset is a definite out next game as he has other commitments. Plus his contribution whilst solid was did not provide the entire reasons for the performance. Same goes for Perrie if you take out his 7 goals we still had another bloke slot in 6 himself and at least 5 others 2 goals each.

It is acknowledged that Ingle Farm are undermanned and have a huge mountain to climb not sure that you can pick premiership favourites a game into a season

I still think people are jumping the gun a fraction. It was round 1 and its clear Pultney are going to be tough. Lets assess it in a few more rounds , obviously it will be a struggle for IF all year but i dont think it will be as bad as expected. Fantastic experience for young fella to play on Perrie, and your right Perrie should have kicked more.

Can i also say though, full credit to Perrie and Basset who held themselves very professionally and showed great leadership for Pultney, especially with the constant sledging they copped lol.

LOL everyone copps sh*t and i even think Pultney wont win every game and probably wont take the Flag, but your right it is only round 1

Not sure if anyone has seen but check out Rosewater FC on you tube. Bloody good idea, guy who produced them seems pretty professional. Good to hear about club traditions, importance of juniors and the regulation razz up before a game...
