The drug called "Tobacco" is more adictive than Heroin my good friend.

Nicotine should be criminalised.

Am in the middle of Allen Carr's method at the moment. Using the Nintendo DS! Thought it was worth a go, the messages he sends are quite powerful, IMO. Looking forward to chucking it in (again), hopefully in the next couple of days.

Righto, that very day I posted turned out to be the day of my last gasper.

I think that puts me somewhere close to 4 weeks without one, put down entirely to the Allen Carr method. Other times I have stopped carrying my wallet to remove the ability to buy smokes and have finished up bumming smokes off others to get me through until I can get my wallet to buy some!

The method involved completely demonising nicotine and fully explaining all of its effects. On top of that it makes a complete mockery of every excuse you can dream of. Now, whenever I am in a situation where I would have normally smoked, the lessons from the quit smoking method pop into my head and I am just not interested in partaking. I am pretty happy with it, to the point of highly recommending it to anyone considering giving up.
