Probably too early to tell Grub. Melb will be around the mark again, QLD seem to be improving and who knows what Sydney will bring. I'd imagine A league can be a good one on betfair because the odds fluctuate throughout the season.
I think there is going to be a top 6 this year also, which makes it hard to win it when teams are so even and one goal can decide the outcome.
Its also hard to know what impact the big signings will have. "Signings"...whats that i hear you say Adelaide United fans!?!?!

I will bet right now Queensland Roar will not win it.

Only because I believe they are changing their name to Brisbane Roar now they have two other in-state teams.

Wow some value there. Perth & the Gold Coast would be worth a crack. Both have a very good squads.

Smeltz for the most goals too. He'll get good feed by Grella. Archie is injured too often.

There is an average write-up in today's Tiser, but at least it gives you the ins and outs.
Melb, Bris and Gold Coast are the teams to beat IMO. Melb and Bris have stable line-ups, and the brief history of the A league shows that stable teams do well. Gold Coast have good signings, but imports always have an unknown factor.
Get on Newcastle or Nth Qld for the wooden spoon!
Highest goal scorer is usually a lottery. Smeltz should get better service from his new team, but the feeling is he had a season last year which will be hard to back up.
I'd take Van Dijk for interest sake, hopefully Farina has the Roar attacking.
You can take teams head to head for the year, maybe this is the best way to go?

Would have thought Fowler at $17 for most goals was overs .. Not necessarily on ability alone (although he should be up to scratch at this level) ... But more for the popularity associated with his name, thought he would have been backed in lower than that.

Dont know why, but nobody is rating Nth Qld. I reckon they could make their way into the finals (ie 5th or 6th spot), of what i saw in the advertiser i believe they have a decent squad. Doubt they would challenge for the title.. Id be thinking Melbourne, Queensland or Gold Coast. Adelaide will be around mid table.. For mine its out of CCM, Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC for bottom spot.
It's Somma Time!
