I think you are talking about the IF skipper who played a great game. He's definitely not 16 and would take it as a compliment if called Richie Sambora.

Taylor was the difference between the two sides in first half - great player.

Umpiring was excellent

Yeah, I though he looked a bit old for 16, Hawksworth. I didn't rate the umpiring too highly, the dude with the mo was too whistle-happy, there were far too many frees paid IMO, they definetely weren't the worst. The B grade ones did a better job. Taylor must've racked up 15 possessions in the first quarter, after that, we had many contributors.
We are hoping to have 3 important in's for the big local derby this week at home vs Elizabeth, they'll be pumped and have been going great.

yeh the one on the ball was hawkesworth would you belive he is just ova 40 WOW! and the younger one is named youngy he is only 16 he will be very interesting to watch in the coming years .

At Kooka Park yesterday Plympton looked good in very ordinary conditions... Kooka's only played one good quarter and that was the 2nd when the dogs took there foot off the pedal... Very poor quarter by the dogs then after half-time we dominated!!! Big mistake putting croucher down back after half time i rekon.... things seemed to be working fine in the 2nd quarter, must've of been a injury or something to a key defender, cause if not, very silly move.... Good hit out and there are some good things i rekon down the track for KFC....
However in the B grade it was a very solid hit out.... Physical game, dogs didn't kick a goal after half time due to some good defence.... Shocking conditions..... But a good game considering.....

Agree mate, I played in the 2's and I can honestly say i've never been so spent after a game of footy, towards the end in packs I was crawling out because I could barely stand. Devistating to lose such a hard game and trust me i'm still feeling it. When lightning flashed across the ground I asked the bloke I was standing if he was wearing any peircings, when he replied no I thanked god .

Yes LM I mentioned during the A's that I was glad I didnt see the long sleeved number 1 playing for you blokes, mind you the bloke who probably would have played on him for us didnt play either so it was even as far as im concerned . We are getting better each week, put 4 quaters on the board and we will start seeing some results. Judging by bulldogs007's comment were no chance so we better look ahead

Your a star mate, let's see where you are at the end of September before you blow your trumpet. You boys played well in both grades i'll give you that. It takes 1 bad game to ruin your season though, could be the prelim final. Keep telling us how good you are

yeah i played in the 2's aswell, i was pretty sore sunday... very good contest, same as you near the end it was very hard to get up towards the end.. some of the worst conditions iv played in. your oval held up well considering. hopefully the weather will be better next time we meet... what position did you play???

yeah he's a gun... probably the 2nd oldest guy in our side. Nicknamed "Rolls Royce". He got BOG i the GF last year....a really great bloke... captain aswell... he got 2nd best for us, i thought he deserved best....

nah i think he is set on playing indoor cricket which i think starts at the same time as a's so he is confined to b's for now he looked ok on saturday still gotta work on his fitness a bit some promasing signes non the less. so there will be no double trouble for oppositions forward lines could really freak some people out though if he did play would be funny.
