where do you start, top spot up for grabs, weather forecast good, both sides looking like div 2 pace setters, macca v the weed, aston v his ability to recover from fridays hangover, balcony band v phos fans...
sure to be a cracker with a big crowd as the game will be recieving a fair bit of advertising (so im told)

looking forward to seeing how phos respond to the planned playing of several players in new positions.rumours are around that a certain pnu wingman is more than keen to move back to his full forward area of several years ago where he had great success.despite his time in the trainers room he looks reborn and invigorated ready to be the falcons difference maker.

OK, I'll bite

So Bill wants back at the front huh?, he's pushing 30 (in fact I think he pushed it earlier in the year, unless Im a year early  ) so playing on the wing with his feet in the condition that they're in is hardly going to be good for his game as he gets on in years, especially if we keep getting this wet weather. If Macca can squeeze down forward with Nicky somewhere, all the best to him.

Provided Weed sticks the dynamite up the PHOS boys and they play from go to woa, they should get over the line, they have been known to be slow starters. but I reckon it will be a close game.

Gee Footy Chick, you seem to know everyone at PNU. How many games did you see from them last year? How do you compare the set up at Hope Valley to Payneham?

Suppose you would. But you do seem to only put players down as to old or in bad shape or soft apart from jolly. also you seem to know about recruits that would not of been there when you were. unless you are an avid follower of the club without being involved. I have found out more about payneham from you than anyone this year. I am not complaining.

Don't suppose you would

Certainly not putting anyone down, I can see how someone like yourself that hasn't been at the club too long would see that though.

Nothing I've written is heresay or unfactual, If Billy himself has read this, I don't think he'd have a problem with it. Besides, I never said Billy was past it, I simply said that with the particular injury he's had he might be glad not to be running around in harsh conditions so much.

Although I have no involvement with the club anymore, I still take a keen interest and Im glad you guys have got off to a good start this year.

Fair enough. FC. I am unaware that Billy has bad feet or whatever injury it is. . i am sure he would not have a problem either i dont think i have ever heard him get angry at anyone talking bout him except macca. haha. of course he would love a spot up forward who wouldnt. as for staggy i suppose your comments are valid he does love darts. my point was only that from your comments i have noticed a bit of negativity at times. that may just be my perception. you have every right to say what you want though. i just didnt realise the time you had spent at the club and amount of players you know enough to write pretty factual comments about especiailly being based at hope Valley.
Speaking of hope Valley, is Dicko, Julian valenti and Lee Duggan still playing

Welcome to the forum Feverman.......

I will complain about umpires win, lose or draw when they are blatantly terrible (I won't go as far to say "cheats"). I would like to hear what the PHOS players/supporters thought of it because I would even go as far to say that they themselves would admit we got a rough deal. Further to that the Payneham guys also agreed the umpiring was awful. Is that ok with you???????

Keen Observer, you should probably stick to the Plains forum where the standard better suits your IQ. Must have been a cracker of a game, kicking three goals for the match and winning......hmmmmmm,

And before you complain of the conditions, Virginia managed 40 scoring shots didn't they....

The umpires are no more or less pedantic than they have been for the last couple of years. The free kick of the day seemed to be head high and they paid it alot and both ways.
I am not certain you guys do yourselves any favours. Yes the captain can talk to the umpires but there is a way of doing it.

If you keep kicking the dog one day it will turn around and bite.
