Not good for the comp, or Cally, when the second bottom team from last year beats the bottom team from last year by so much. Gums have really improved on and off the ground in recent years with a small but loyal band of people at the club getting the results they deserve. Not getting carried away just enjoying the start of the year for a change.

Lets remember 1 thing, before Gary rocked into TV, he and the rest of the company were all at Gum.. I dont really know the history but im sure they won a flag under him... didn't they???

One question, did they win it......or buy it?

I dont think they have won one since the 80's. Was he coaching back then?

Correct, 1984 was our last flag and no he wasnt coaching back then. He became involved with our junior teams back in the mid 90s and did win a couple of under 14 flags back then with what was a gun junior team. The difference with GH when he coached us was that whilst we did have many an import, he still kept a fair few of the local junior lads around the senior teams. I guess we just said enough was enough, spending alot of money for very little reward.

The second one was in the Magoos. Where the umpire actually gave a 50 metre for a comment from the crowd. He even turned around to us at one stage and had a go (verbally). When asked by the crowd at a later stage protect the player, he again turned to the crowd as said, He can look after himself, Interesting Umpiring, that is all, and very funny.

b grade decision was ordinary but ordinary must be that umpires middle game. not sure where he's from but he had a shocker

im not sure if id call a head high bump (accidental or not) a fair bump. if it was fair it wouldnt have been at the head!

youd have to admit it was a little reckless and i heard bawden telling his players a 3/4 time to target trent thorpe and next quarter he gets knocked out!

rubbish yourself bookie!

i was at the 1/2 time huddle and thats what i took from it.. also told that by your reining b&f after the game!

also i heard bawden say at 3/4 time after the incident that thorpe deserved it because 'he'd been sniping people all day'! also a poor call by your coach as thorpe is one of the fairest players in the league.

and id also say thorpe was influential.. had 19 touches to half time

Congrats to Multi Golden Whistle winner Trev MacDonald who on the weekend will umpire his 500th game. Not bad for a bloke who looks like Ted Ballpit and runs like Cliff Young :D

A TV supporter told me Trewan wouldn't play A grade because of the point system, intresting to see what grade he lines up in this week as he was not to happy. I would say Nuri would love him back.

Trev must be close to 100 years old, considering he played 450 Senior games for Kersbrook. ;)

Wow 1250 Express......Half time Huddle hay?????? Dont the A grade go in the rooms at Half Time?????interesting, He was never targeted, and the played that Thorpe ran into is not a dirty play in one bit. What happened was two players going hard at the ball the echunga player was quicker got their first turned his body to protect himself from thorpes hit and colided!!! A grade coach really wasn't worried About Kangys players one bit just worried about how his own team was playing. Still won with 17 on the park.

um pitbull who is your informant trewen been injured for 2 weeks yeah will be interesting to see where he lines up deserves chance in a grade to prove his qualities especially after them going down last week. has been told is required a grade player so anyone would be disappointed if things were to change wouldnt you. dont know if your right in saying he is not happy being paid regardless. would be foolish for tv to not give the guy a go. nuri would i am sure like to secure him but must have fallen off the rails when it come to 2009 season commencing for them not to secure him. oh well time will tell.

Are Kersbrook gonna get a B grade game this week? And if it stays dry, what's the 'A' grade score gonna be? Reckon Beef will coach from the sidelines this week.

Can the mercy rule be invoked this week. Seriously what hope have Cally got of scoring this week, much less putting up any sort of fight. I was amazed last week that they only scored 1 goal against us and now to come up against the rampant Brookers.... geez. Theyll be lucky to last past the halfway point. Leesy to kick 10 from 10 kicks.

Think you mean for the win over Callington Dashin.......there's a side that spends a lot of dough that are gonna be tough to beat come September.
