I only tell it as i see it, i couldn't give a rats toss about Pt Dist to be honest, i can't see posting what i did was changing my tune.
Got within 4 goals to the best side in comp.
Coach must of done something right.
Players must of done something right.
Just giving credit where its due.
Oh i forgot & 1Eyed wouldn't go eye to eye with Rick or Alf, instead would run scared.

Hey No Mercy - getting within 4 goals of the supposed "best side in comp" (silly comment) on the wettest day in Adelaide in 3 years and in the wind - I wouldn't attribute that too much of the result to the coach.

Knowing who you are No Mercy and with your profound footy success & knowledge as both player & coach, surely common sense would prevail and tell you that in such conditions not too many teams in any league - even your supposed "best side in comp" - are not going to win by massive margins. 4 goals in those conditions is almost a 10+ goal win in good conditions. That therefore would not be a good result for Pt Dist last week.

You should know better than anyone to make those silly comments.

As for Henley being "best side in comp", so so so many people have said that about them in the past 2 - 3 years and then they have gone out in straight sets. Once again, a very silly comment from an experienced man. Perhaps a bit of sentiment kicking in towards your old team you used to coach!!

In your eyes it might be a silly comment  & yes not all teams are gonna win by huge margins =D> you are very clever TNG but looking at Henley they are not the biggest side in the comp & have alot of smalls just like Dist & are a very very capable side in the wet or are they not in your eyes TNG? So thats an almost 10 goal win in good conditions you reckon, well tell me something in Div2 Payenham kicked 25.26 to 4.4 can you tell me what that equates to in good cond, is that a 50+ goal win?
You calling my post a silly one, if you've got a mirror at home pal have a good look in it & tell me what you see.
Henleys last 2-3 years they hav'nt gone out in straight sets only last year they did, once again get your facts right.
As for trying so hard to expose me TNG keep trying =))

Only pick and choose what you read hey No Mercy - I said quite clearly not all teams are gonna win by huge margins... I never said that every team are gonna win by those margins. That did allow me a little room to move. Got you there!!

Furthermore NO Mercy - look who Payneham NU played last week to kick that score. Kilburn - the once powerhouse DIV 1 club who is now a shadow of it's former self and who have struggled to win a game in 3 years and who should really be playing in Div 3.

As for Henley, don't shy away from the fact that they have failed on the big stage. Put your sentiment aside and admit the fact that they have continuously failed in Div 1 finals.

Sorry but they are not the best team in the comp - and they will not be until they start winning Div 1 GF's.

The best side in the comp - bad weather or no bad weather - should be beating sides by more than 4 goals (partic given most people on this thread have not rated PDFC a chance of even making the finals)...

And no this is not trying to expose you NO Mercy - just stating the bleeting obvious!!

Who said all teams are gonna win by big margins??Your a tool Naked Gun.
Kilburn struggled to win a game in 3 years? how about 3 years ago when they finished bottom yet beat Payenham easily. why was that?
As for Henley yes they did struggle last year in the finals but i don't think they did in 2004, my calculations are they won a qualifying final by 10 goals & lost a prelim by 6 pts i think to the eventual premiers in Goodwood who won the flag by 8 goals.
You judge a team differently to me clown, who gives a sh!t about previous years whether they won
a flag or not, Henley are as far as i'm concerned the best side in the comp as with Goodwood looking at their playing lists.
Port Districts in my eyes won't play finals yet on there day will help shape the final five.

and like I have said for some time now - the Salis Nth trophy cabinet will remain bare after their insipid performance today!!

Port District - 20 senior premierships
Salisbury Nth - 1 senior premiership (and Div 11 at that - what a joke)

If we are closing this thread down - we may as well close the Salis Nth FC down - because at leaset this thread has had more success than your footy club mate!!

Hang on your team has done nothing either mate - one A1 GF appearnce and you are world beaters!!

Plus we only count SAAFL premiership - because that's the league you are planning in mate. Otherwise return to your former league buddy!!

Sorry mate you need a reality check!!
