Yep - Gawler Centrals .... pitch not up to A1 standard when bowlers are unable to bowl with their usual run ups due to uneven approaches and slippery/sand covered pitch.
You are right about 6 foot pitch as well .... although it provides a good guide to us sloggers as to which balls we can hit

And I bowled 1 over last year - although four steps probably isnt a run-up.

Thats what I was thinking - four drop down from above, and the two sides in A2's currently that dont have an A1 side remain to form 6 team A2 comp. Bylaws are setup to ensure each club has 1 and only 1 side across these two grades.
The other grades then take care of themselves.
Which only leaves the issue of oval availability. The second oval at Stockwell will address some of that, but need to ensure clubs aren't putting in more sides than they can sustain in terms of playing venues.
