Another Mudgey! Adam is a champ and a very handy footballer at that. Nick will be a good pickup for you guys if he's as good as his bro.

very handy pickup indeed. played in the magoos on ANZAC day in the pourin rain and wasn't bad, got brought up to play A's on saturday and was amongst our best. goes very well. where does Adam play, may have to match them up...

Adam did the same, played magoos on Anzac Day (it was his first game back since coming back from NZ) and was in the top three players, then got the call up this weekend just gone. He'll probably get thrown around the ground a bit until we settle on a position for him. I'd like him down back with me though, because he's disciplined and cool under pressure.

yeah Nick goes very well down back too. played CHB and on a bloke who was probably 6 inches taller and 10-15Kgs bigger but one on one was rarely beaten. was very impressed. hopefully we have a bit of structure and a settled group by round 7 and it'll be a close one... i think every week there has been a min of 5 changes to the side... doesn't help.

Maybe. Our #1 team rule is 'Do not let Quichey near the goals', but I might be able to sneak myself up there on Cane Reserve.

you're always near the goals on our oval. we have no midfield, just forwards and backs...

Ha, I've only ever played there once, it was back in 1995, I had been looking forward to it as I thought I'd kick a bag and we'd kick some astronomical score. I ended up playing probably the worse game I have ever played, it was very costraphobic and I got dropped the next week, it might of had something to do with my daughter being born on the Friday before though, I didn't just wet the baby's head that night, I saturated it.

i love playin my oval too, it proportionate to my size... works well for me!!! you'd think a big score would be capable but it does get quite congested... if you get it right then kick, handpass, kick, goal. but generally it's harder than that.

the good thing is you don't have to run a mile to get to each contest. i like that!!!

There is no room for a decent run though, there wouldn't be many running bounces during a game.

Played a bit of cricket there too. One of the Ellicott boys smashed a six which hit a train going past.
