what is the go with broadview ringing casey and asking him back, is it so hard for some amatuer league clubs to understand when a player is contracted he is off limits!!! your recruiting manager is a very slimy operator, HANDS OFF U D***HEAD. u didnt want him back in january and now all of a sudden u do, has the penny dropped that div 2 isnt going to be a walk in the park for you guys. be surprised if u make finals let alone get back into div 1

for those of you keeping stats....i have had 4 different players not turn up to a saturday game this year.they were all caucasian or white boys or whatever you want to label them.one of them has irish heritage.this does not mean he was off drinking whisky somewhere.
walk about is a legitimate term when referred to in the appropriate context.being absent from a football game or club is NOT that context.so how about not using terminology that may be considered racist or derrogetory to others.

Looks like there may be a few more missing this week too wristy, Heard a senior player and a resonably new player at the club having a chat last night turned slightly nasty. Questions of commitment and the likes being thrown around. Seems not all is peachy. hopefully they can agree to disagree. think there may be a little more to the issue but i am not sure what it was.

While there are a couple of PNU blokes about what do you think of KGs rumour of Macca to coach at Port Adelaide next year? Any substance?

Could someone coach a team they've hated all their life? I'm sure he'd respect port, but his skin would probably crawl being surrounded by them all the time.

I heard that bandied around before, but you'd think the likelyhood of Macca going to the Magpies would be as slim as me ever singing "every heart beats true".....

Oh

Wouldnt you sing that when the Valleys win???

Yeah i am not sure it would happen. strange things do happen in football though. but if he were going to any sanfl club you would assume that would be his last option. but he has been in the black and white for a few years now. but i think that the lack of substance KG's rumours is enough to pass this one off as another that will not happen.

That's why I had the  at the end ;)

When I said I'd heard this before, the same thing went around after Knights got the flick and from memory he'd been wooed by Westies as well.

Obviously there wasn't as much incentive for him to go at that stage...

I guess time will tell. he obviously has not mentioned anything to the playing group or there is no talk coming from anywhere in the club. Dont think there is any room for talk in the club at the moment as spirits seem high apart from maybe a minor issue i mentioned earlier. Hopefully the positivity can stay around for a long time.

Are the pinkney boys back for Pembroke, have not noticed the names floating around at all.

Yeah, he lives down that way - his boy used to play Juniors at Haven - still doesn't mean much though.

I do fancy Seaton in an upset. Not having the infamous J Kempf this year not helping The Ramblers cause.

Athlestone are always a lot better at home then away.

Pembroke v Payenham Will be a closer game than most would think.
Kilburn v Flinders Pk
Athelstone v Eastern Pk Being a hard, physical side might just get Athelstone
PHOS v Broadview
Adel Uni v Seaton
