a lot of people have asked me and im still under the impression it had something to do with the pies and pasties, but seriously im sure people understand that their was a major difference of opinion between 2 parties but what was the actual point of disagreement that sparked this whole affair.

Even if Green had the most convincing argument the member clubs still had no choice but to vote against him. The remainder of the executive gave the indication from either their answers.....or their child like lack of answers that they would step down. Simple case of loose 1 to keep 5. Remembering if the 5 walked there is every chance we wouldnt be playing football this weekend also.

EV...not so sure about that...I dont believe the exec has as much to do with the day to day stuff of the league...Glenda and Kylie seem to do all the leg work and the others hang their hat on it

Just my opinion but the only thing that may be affected immediatelly would be the tribunual... and the CEO said in newsletter that reports were on the decrease in anycase.... and if push came to shove not sure how many would have been lemmings and gone over the cliff

The whole Exec would have walked so what was the better alternative. A 'one man band' or an orchestra that's somewhat "out of tune"

A lot of people seem to be not happy with the way things are run from head office and maybe this was the opportunity to have a good clean out or at least a major turn around of personnel and change that could now be an opportunity missed!

In theory - Yes it was, but it would have been at a cost.

Not knowing full details, who, how many & why may still have been great chance to initiate change at a cost / problems for long term gain.

There would have been no long term gain.

You'll just have to trust me on this one.

If you had seen MS on the night, he was like a rabbit in a spotlight and the colour of his face matched his hair, silver.
He looked as though the end of the world was about to descend on Thebby oval.

I didn't say there wasn't an issue there - but I doubt the delegates will let that one ride in a hurry.

What I said was, anyone who thought that getting rid of everyone else was a better decision long term is very mistaken.

I'm not in any position to say whether things are hunky dory or not.

How would I know? :-??

If the delegates believe there are still issues to be sorted from all this, they'll raise it at the next meeting I guess.

From what's been reported to me, it seems there is still a lot of unfinished business.

... dont think its fair that a lot of people sit on the fence when they know a lot of factual info then pull out the big stick when the same information, if shared may be considered inflamitory

Clearly SAAFL exec have to 'squeky clean' in all actions and decisions that they take on clubs behalf and there is absoulutely no doubt in my mind that there is fair and reasonable doubt that DG has raised issues that clearly show this is not the case.
