Postby bayman » Sun Sep 10, 2006 8:56 pm

curly seal is set to quit betting at the trotts in the next month or two leaving one bookie out there it will be a sad day when no bookie is on course i've witnessed no bookie at the horsham dogs a couple of years ago & its just like sitting in a pub or at the tab with no atmosphere the only difference between the tab,pub & on course is you walk outside to watch the race live, soon there will be only trainers, owners strappers & drivers out there apart from possibly big nights, but why does the biggest bookie give up betting probably the fear of ag,dutchy, mal,mt & of course punk & possibly myself

yeah i never even thought about that, then again he might go out there for the inter as other bookies will go out there as well that we dont see at any other part of the year like jim easom & greg.mcatee & possibly the know all (that got slaughtered out there) paul carey. quote to a mate that worked for him out there ''i'm laying all the favourites tonight until the cows come home" my friend asked me what i thought could win & i said 6 of the 8 favs will win & the other two should so i'll be seeing you all night if he is going to lay them, my friend went home winning & getting overs as well & got paid for being there, god it was good going back race after race collecting
