i am sure the door would be opened at willaston for any player with the right attitude.

Fantastic to see the welcome mat is out at Willaston.

Is that clown Mick Brien still involved with Willaston ?

mighty mick is still the last president to oversee a premiership at wfc i believe he still calls elliot godger home.

Pinch Hitter is definately Hafey, who else would refer Willastons last premiership president as mighty mick!!! No one from Willaston i bet!

It's true he is off too Cairns for work & footy but I thought their season was different to ours. Certainly his last game this week, a massive loss he was going to be a big part of the club this season and was probably going to fly under most clubs radars. It is actually a bigger loss than most would realise. No hard feelings though he is a terrific lad who will no doubt put enough over the bar this weekend to run the club for a good week or two (the lad knows how to drink).

NO Mercy....

You are an absolute Pole Smoker... Freeling obviously able to do what you couldn't (Get Eichner's services), so you go around trolling the club on an annonomous forum... real class act... probably why Freeling beat you to the punch in the first place....

Go back to your own pissy thread, because your opinion around here carries very little weight unlike yourself...

Even if BLG members dont like Freeling, they certainly put them ahead of you and your rabble!!!

Even more credit to the bloke for going to a club everyone new was going to struggle and were trying to develop juniors... Not just trying to swing straight into a premiership side!

steve eichs is bloody good footballer and more importantly, a bloody good bloke, and i know having him around this year in the As will help alot of the 16,17,18 yr olds playing alongside him, his knowledge of the game and leadership is so valuable to the learning of these footballers, hopefully he will be around in a couple years when this current group of freeling youngsters start to taste some success, and judging by the way he seems to be enjoying his time at freeling on and off the field i think he will be,

I've heard the faintest of whispers reagrding McGrath and South Gawler also. Importantly, it also comes from a good source. The committee don't want to look bad by having to sack Herzick after appointing him, but I understand there may be an unwritten arrangement between the club and Herzick which allows the club to let him go if he is not enjoying his time coaching the group any more, or feels he can not take it any further.
McGrath has not been lined up as such, but has been sounded out. We'll see.

Byron Pickett to BL&G?
Possibly South?

Heard this one at the Centrals game y'day but not sure how much truth there is to it. Source isn't closely connected to footy but has some reasonable contacts...
