this weeks tips
blodge vs clg- this will be a hum dingger both have class players both have 2 very dangerous forwards but clg backline are very discipline. but blodge ruckman are very dominant so for that reason the lodge by 3 goals in a cracker.
mitchell park vs glenunga- mitchell park by 10 goals
lockleys vs cenral united- lockleys by 20 goals
trinity vs paralowie- trinity by 2 goals although wouldnt suprise me if roos get up in this one if they play a tough, hard brand of footy, and can stop trinitys runners.
west croydon vs heccies- heccies to stay on there winning way, very classy side 8 goal winners.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the kind people who had such wonderful things to say about me. Yes i was looked after at Christies Beach and had one of the most enjoyable years of football out there. i would like to think that i was 'value for money' for them and for there coach tony meekins, but i guess we never made finals and i left after one year so you could say it was wasted on me. I can say my move to brahma lodge was because of family. I spent the off season overseas in afganistan and needed to spend more time my young family. I am very happy at brahma lodge and hope to continue playing there for a very long time. I am a payed player at brahma lodge but i make sure that this goes back over the bar on a saturday night. As for playing footy with my bro, well if he ever comes back from the broken arm it would be nice to have a game with him.

Browny, yes i am a cheat and hopefully you kick more than 10.20 because you would have been to the ryan school of goal kicking.

Bookworm how are the u/18's going at morphett vale?
I thought you were having a year off football?

cheers

Ryno I am not Tony. So I wouldn't know how they are going. But I did hear he kept the boys in the huddle too long the other week and the siren blew, leaving only 1 team on the field to kick a goal. Guess that may some up how he is going. Nice guy but his coaching record aint too flash. I hear the christies boys still look for your name in the paper, am told you are a modern day giant as well.

Good to hear that the i left an impression on some of the christies boys as i had a really enjoyable year out there. I f i change jobs or move back down south i would be back there in a heart beat. As for a modern day giant, i don't know how to take that? i will take it as a complement. If you see any of the boys from christies say hello from me and will have to catch up for a beer shortly. Where are they playing this week, we have CLG down south this week so might have to call in for a beer after.

I honestly believe this could be an old fashion shoot out. A side could kick 20 goals and still lose on saturday. I know Payney will be looking for all out attack and will have no negative roles for anybody. He will just be attack, attack, attack. Will be a humdinger of a match.

I didn't mean that in a bad way either. I was injured for the ANZAC game last year and wandered over to your huddle for a nosey at 3/4 time. I think we had got a bit of a run on and out scored you in that quarter. The guy went bananas. Couldn't believe the ferocity of the spray considering the scoreboard.

I do, but I haven't played against Paralowie's A Grade yet. I was out injured most of last year with a badly broken finger and this year I was in the magoos for the Paralowie game to get some fitness - I'm not a fan of pre-seasons ;)

Hi all,
this saturday Trinity OS A & B's take on Paralowie at home, should be 2 good games..... Trinity C grade also take on Paralowie C grade but down at paralowie.

Trinity OS had asked the school if we could use the nice new fancy 1st 18's oval to see if we could make it a triple header and have all 3 grades together for the day. Trinity thought this also gets supports all at the same venue because lets face it Paralowie like Trinity i would think would have most of their supporters at their A & B Grade games. Trinity had considered that possibly the C Grade start a little earlier maybe and then have the last couple quarters to watch the A Grade battle it out!

Paralowie was asked if there C Grade would like to come down but they have said No they want the game at home.

Does anyone else think this is a little odd? Why wouldnt you want all your sides together?

Trinity C Grade play Paralowie c grade 3 times this season and all 3 games are at Paralowie's home ground, so why wouldnt you not take the opportunity just once to have all 3 sides together?

My question is what do other clubs think they would do? would your club use the opportunity to have all 3 grades together?

* and demonseye if this post is too long for you to read i can break it down into smaller paragraphs for you :D ;) *

Round 6 Tips

Mitchell Park vs Glenunga: 129 points.
Colonel Light Gardens vs Brahma Lodge: 19 points, clash of the titans, should be a sell-out, if all tickets are sold it is going to be live on channel 31. ;)
Lockleys vs Central United: 116 points.
Trinity OS vs Paralowie: 23 points, home ground advantage, Paralowie have certainly gained merit from their home win against West Croydon.
West Croydon vs Hectorville: 24 points, the Hawks will give it everything on their home deck but I think that the Hounds are battle-hardened now after a tough early draw.
HOGG SHIELD DIVISION V WINNER 2018.
