Lost their last 8 wickets for 26 runs! Good show boys - don't think they'll be retaining the ICC Champions Trophy this year, on the back of performances like that!

You would have to say that the Aussie are clear favourites to win their first Champions Trophy. It looks like the only team that could get near them is India, who may have the strength to beat Australia, especially at home.

Dont write off Pakistan - they have some real match winners in their squad. Razzaq blitzed 40 off the final 2 overs in game 3 vs the Poms and their middle order is as strong as any. They rested Akhtar in the last game of their series and didnt play a spinner, so dont read much into the fact england drew the series 2-2 after being 2-0 down!

He played a warm up match for a Birmingham League side in my competition and took 2/ and they had a massive crowd there just to see hiM!

I reckon I read somewhere that Shoaib had some kind of ankle injury, for memory.

But yes, you are right I forgot the Paki's - they do have a quality one-day side and will also be suited to the Indian match conditions - Sportsbet has them as equal second favourites with India at $4.50!

Johnson is ripping thru the Indians, this Kid can bowl and exactly what Aust has been craving for, a quick left hander who moves the ball both ways, his pace and variety may be an Ashes bonus

he needs to work on his fielding though can remember last year against the redbacks he dropped a sitter in front of the scoreboard and even though it was a small crowd he did cop a fair bit if he can get that part of his game right we are looking pretty good

Match ends in a no result. Bit unlucky considering Australia had India at 5-35.

Yeah a bit, but you get that. Mitchell Johnson bowled well. Anyway unluckly but still some good signs for Australia.

The bowlers cost Australia the game - 33 extras were gifted to the Windies, and they chased down the score with 16 balls to spare. Gayle played brilliantly to score 79, and Lara scored 87 off of 80 balls.

After 41 ODI's Hussey's average now stands at 84.33!
