jl big call mate i have seen both teams play this year and will be a outstanding game a source i no down the north reckons the lodge boys are on big time and have some tricks up there sleeve for tomorrows game, but watching clg the other week they are a very well drilled unit and have some great players but in the end it might come down to who is willing to sacrifice there body in this game more for there team. And for this reason i think you will still be posting 5 oclock sat night.

for me it comes down to who wins the midfield, neither dalby or walton will have a big day if theres no supply through the midfield, game will be won or lost there. whos midfield has more goal kicking ability? we will find out soon

Tactics will win this game. Both teams are very good units, but what are the respective game plans that each coach will take into the game, will they be effective and will their troops respond to the demands? Payney has the runs on the board and I reckon BL in a close one.

Rebound will be crucial tomorrow, the half-back flankers the centrepiece of this, creating the turnovers and finding space on the break. Would love to watch this game.

lodge way to good for clg today, quarter time score was clg 9 5 lodge 1 3...then the game changed and they piled on 15 goals to 3, made us look second rate, but still some positives for us with probly our best and worst footy for the year! Credit to payne and the boys they were hard and too good on the day, look forward to the rematch...also their assistant coach decided to come up to our coach halfwau through the last and rub the win in was poor form after a good fair game

clg smashed bl in the first quarter, probably clg's best quarter for the year, i think bl were a bit to 'harvey conscious' which allowed dalby and visser to kick multiple goals early. the second quarter was the complete opposite with bl getting more physical and clg not running and playing to there game plan.

more dissapointing than clg's last 3 quarters were the bl supporters that came around to where our supporters were, looking for a fight. bunch of idiots.

I believe your coach was having a couple words with our assistant during the game, which lead to the last quarter words. If you're going to give it out, make sure you take it back.

Also, the supporters up the southern end FROM BOTH SIDES were pretty poor. Yes our guys didn't help it by standing 5 meters from your supporters, but you don't mention your guy taking his clothes off to throw a few??

As for the footy, that 1st quarter from CLG was awesome. Then the BL boys started turning the screws, it got very physical and a few stoppages, and CLG went to water. Brilliant 3 quarters from BL, will be a cracking re-match. Also, the CLG B grade were brilliant. Will be hard to beat this year.

went and watch this one today and what a win for blodge to be 8 or 9 down at 1/4 time and win pretty easy in the end is a sensational effort from this team. they were awful in the first quater and it looked like clg gardens were going to win by plenty. I listened to payne 1/4 speech and he didnt hold back with a few of his players and from there on it was all blodge even in the second if blodge kicked straight they would have almost gone in at half time in front. just wonder how much clg rely on some of there big name players because in the first quater when it was all going there way they were good but when it got tough and clg needed some one to step up the so called guns went missing big time. anyway sensational game and well done to both sides for the show.
