again to my point when i brought up that elizabeth had not played alot of the better sides until 2 weeks ago.whats happened to them now ???yes they knocked of smiths but that would have to be a sort of a derby being the grounds are so close to each other and anything can happen in a derby. well done hope valley.

agreed....

M8 I totally agree, you showed our A grade how to play footy well and truly, well drilled and very disciplined. From what i have seen plympton will take out the flag this year. Well done to the other doggies ;)

hv going along very nicely, well done boys

westies are the real deal as we said a couple of weeks ago so both div 6 teams are going very well with pulteney only getting up by 2 goals over them

blacks back in form as well with plympton to strong at home

all credit to farmers today..they never played a loose man or flooded all day..they tried valiantly till the end and there was no undisciplined acts..we play our nemesis elizabeth this week at home so hopefully some confidence will be back in the players heads now

Well done to Blackfriars on the weekend, after we led by 12 points at half time they came out and kicked 11 goals in the 3rd quarter to blow us out of the water. Their run after half time was far superior to ours, their abililty to hit their many forward targets was exceptional. We need to be able to get a settled side together, 4 to 6 changes a week isn't helping along with our long list of unavailable players.

Thanks to elizabeth for 2 good hard games of footy on sat, both games were played in good spirit, best of luck for this week.

As for our boys, focus quickly turns to smithfield this week. Against Elizabeth, the boys probably produced their best 4 quarter effort since plympton in round 1, and the result looked after itself. There is never an easy game against smithfield at smithfield, and regardless of their ladder position, we will be looking forward to a tough contest. Hopefully now we have gathered a bit of momentum stringing 3 wins together, we can start to take advantage of some hard work by the boys.
