Golden Grove returned to form yesterday lead by their very young players who all stood up when given the challenge by the coach.

Yes Golden Grove played great footy. Watch out TTG! We played them and their delivery to their full forward was unstoppable. A couple of young guys really killed us accross the midfield. To our credit we turned the second half around a little bit winning more ball out of the middle. But he first half killed us. I must also add that this game was the fairest iv been involved in yet. There was only 1 umpire from GG and his decisions were fair all day and the GG players were all about footy. A good game apart from losing. Will be looking forward to playing GG again.

Good summary of the game.

I also must add that the umpire we have is one of the best I have seen or played under in a long time.

He certainly is. All credit to him! If only Paralowies umpire was like that. We may then be able to get over the line against them. Keep losing by small margins and their umpire never helps. I reckon he robbed us of 4 goals the last time we played them. 1 of them he overrulled the goal umpire completely.

Good to hear. GG premiership favourites now? TTG much prefer to be the underdogs.

He strained a 'man boob'... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

That is a fairly common injury in the C divisions isn't it? ;) ;)

I have no doubt that TTG are a great side. Heck they pumbled us! However GG they showed more signs of direct footy. They didn't muck about with it, sent it straight forward in 2 kicks max on occasions from the other end. They ran with the footy and kicked long and direct to their full forward. If you wanna beat them tag team their full forward or have someone fill the hole in front of him. I just wish I could watch the next TTG VS GG clash. Would be a ripper and a very close game one would think.

95 point win for TTG over Wingfield. Very sad to hear before the game that Wingfield lost 3 players in the car accident in Ceduna on Friday. A minutes silence was done before the opening bounce.

8 goal win for the gullies over Paralowie yesterday. TTG had a cracking start and it was 10 goals to 1 at half time but took the foot off the pedal in the 2nd half. I see what a few people have said about the Paralowie umpire being a disgrace. He was an absolute cheat. Also some of the Paralowie players are very dirty. Heard after the game that Paralowie stacked there team and had 6 A grade players from there premiership last season so all in all a very good win for the gullies.

Any word on Golden Grove losing to Heccies?

Are you serious?. Fitzy our full back from last year is playing C grade this season and has played every c grade game so far. Shannon Ghelken played his first game for the season coming back from a injury. Love to know who the others were!. Sorry we brought Shannon back thru the C grade

Huge turn around that's for sure.... Just looking at the sides from the first time they met and it's fair to say some of the boys have been promoted since that first game and been replaced with some more 'experienced' players ;) due to a few injuries in the higher grades. But all credit to Heccies for winning after being thumped in Round 2. Still gotta beat the team that turns up...
