I dont mind them
Think its better to go in on a syndicate, more money to bet and more chance of winning, just dont win as much as if it was all your money!!

favourite would be Shogun but it just rapes u of ya money most times
dont mind a spin on spring carnival or wheres the gold!
mate and me played jewels of arabia on the weekend, I rate that as you can get free games with the substatutes!

my biggest win is only about $400, had heaps of small wins before
I want to be one of those blokes who wins $1000+ though, how good would that be!!

Used to play them a bit, but very rarely now .. Had a couple of wins of around $2.5k, but over the years certainly lost more than won.

On the rare occasion I play the Pokies, I don't mind one machine, but I don't know what it's called.

Nowadays I enjoy Sports Betting and maybe the Gallops as a hobby/past-time.

They're a curse to society ... whilst people need to take responsibility for their actions, there's that small percentage who can't help themselves and can't afford to lose the money.

For me, I don't see what the fuss is all about .. I find them boring.

Much the same as above. My personal opinion is that I never, ever change a note to play them.

If I have some $1 coins in my pocket ( change from over the bar ) I usually go straight to the one machine at my local and put the $1 in.

Dolphin Treasure ( 1c machine ) and I always play 5x20 for one big spin, biggest win ever, about 4 weeks ago. $550.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Play them if we go out for tea or similar just for something different and a bit of fun.
If I do play them, go with the attitude that I never expect to win, cause obviously you don't more often than not.
Biggest win, cost me $2 and I won $400... what a jag hey... luck of the draw... just a matter of where you sit.....eany, meany, miny, moe... I'll play this one.... Ding Ding Ding.... winner

I'm with FC... I love going to bingo :D

I've won several sets of $500 on various machines. Last week won a grand from Shogun @ $9 spins in a syndicate.

Definitely behind on what I've won over the years.

Favourite machines are Where's the Gold, Spring Carnival, Around the World and Shogun.

Only play when out of tea, use the change from a $50 but generally don't go much more than $20 or so.

The syndicate last week was after I won $300 and a mate got $500.

We put $100 each into the Shogun @ max bet and got free games. Never done it before, but would only do it if it was money I had won.

I've only done it once and we would have gotten down to about 100 bucks before we got free spins. Didn't go any faster than putting 20 bucks in at $1 spins.

Won 5 k a few years ago up in Darwin on a $5 input.

Funny thing is at the Casino up there, I never put money into a machine, prefer to play a table or punt, but the bloke I was with (a local) liked 'em so I went over with some shrapnel, and fed it in and pressed what ever buttons looked good and BINGO !!

Haven't played them since either !!
