well flinders did try this year with a bit of coin for both. but both stayed and have become very much involved with the club on and off the field.

Ed's role on the field is important, but the moeny he puts over the bar is why the club needs him.

You know truth be told, I have no idea how much anyone gets paid. And prefer it that way. Our lads play at SMOSH because they like the club, not because they chase coin. Thats why 95% of our recruits are mates of players, ex SMC students ot players returning to the club. We don't have big changes every year, but we never lose players in droves.

Financially, we struggle a fair bit to meet the Amateur league fees let alone pay exuberant amounts of players who are loyal to the jumper anyway. I think why SMOSH is successful on the field is down to the camaraderie off the field. Everyones mates and most people get back to the club on saturdays for a beer or twelve. Except Schimma. He sits in the corner playing with his matchbox cars.

ALl this talk about Lukey being unliked is a load of sh!t really. Hes a gun footballer, a good clubman and a pretty funny lad. Sure, he's got a few tickets on himself , but if I could play like he does (the bastard), I'm sure I'd let a few people know too!

The princess does drink UDL's though.

So keen for St Peters. Looking forward their B grade playing a man up all game too.

Whats going on down there at Para Hills with Marc Cox, I hear from a mate of mine down south he's applying for a transfer back to Encounter Bay, it hasn't got anything to do with where he finished in the best players last week, 5th instead of 1st!
