Quichey..absolutely correct.....why dont the delegates (who are volunteers) not attend the next SAAFL meeting, nothing can be decided because there arent enough member clubs present and then when the fines roll out from SAAFL house the clubs who are run by volunteers dont pay the fines...IT IS OUR COMPETITION WE THE CLUBS MAKE THE RULES

I reckon if you go back a couple of posts its fairly clear that i have tried to get an idea of what information has come to light (thus the please explain) and then reply with the FACTS of the situation trying
not to let my personall opinions interfere with those definant facts.
As for what someone else wrote "jumping on a gravy train" im not sure what that means. I also am an unpaid volunteer of the saafl though and if you read my FACTS i think you can tell where im coming from.

I would have thought you at least would have been able to see through that one.
Keep getting rid of the workers who do it for FREE under the guise of "conflict of interest" and replace them with PAID staff, i.e. Ashley Porter and the Amateur budget & Grassroots.
Most club people are UNPAID, so if the SAAFL wants clubs to pay for the media junk that's being dished out but at the expense of getting rid of FREE HELP, then clubs have every right to vent their collective spleens.

IMO if they didnt rave on about the stock market and general drib drab which had nothing to do about the show they wouldve had time to spare and give an opinion on that Div. keep it bloody simple
TALK ABOUT THE FOOTBALL nothing else

Quichey wrote:So what are we, as clubs, paying for?
Recipes and stock market tips.
Decent coverage of ALL Divisions with at least a little bit of research (how hard is it to pick up a phone and ring a few clubs each week?) would be nice.
This show is getting beyond a joke to the point that it is almost obsolete - money down a toilet.
