Im not sure of anyone who is a fan of them. Im sure if your a neighbour to a footy oval you know when they are being done because you have a group of grown men whimpering like little girls and wishing they could maybe just run 10 laps instead.

Just joining this conversation late - so please correct me if I'm wrong - but I believe Trinity lost the game by 21 points. So Cheerleaders were too good weren't they? If Trinity were better then they would've won - wouldn't they?

 Yes scorpion Trinity lost by 21 points, yes clg were just way to good for Trinity on saturday, and yes if only Trinity were so much better they could have won. Anything else ive already said that i can repeat for u? Whoo hooo clg you guys r the best!

Why ask a question that was already answered then if u dont wanna hear the answer twice.

Saturdays game CLG B Grade were very impressive and i think may be hard to beat this year.

A Grade think we have established clg were way too good for Trinity.

This week we have MP, sounds like they have been hit hard with injuries, good on the boys that r left 4 making the effort to keep the teams going MP are not doing to bad considering the amount of injuries. We will be sure to keep the beers cold for the boys playin double games, i reckon they might need one before they have to travel all the way back home.

tg i never said clg were way too good for trinity, i said we were too good.
which is why we won and kicked 21 more points then you! just letting you know the team
that kicks a higher score wins a game of footy!

Yes CLG beat Trinity but do we need to shout TG down because she gave a different appraisal of the game than the CLG crowd?. Do i get the feeling that if we dont say what the BL or CLG crowd want we get shouted down?

CLG just getting up tho interesting and west croydon having a good away win.. must of been a cracker match..

as for our match abit sluggish of the lodge but bounced back nicely and taught MP a thing or two..
MP had one stand out player in Nat McDonnell all day played well as for some others just wanted to hit blokes when we were miles in front..

MP coach came over and gave a great speech to us guys after the game.. happy they got a guy like that as coach and if some of them can take a leaf out of his book they will improve without a doubt..

goodluck to MP
Thanks mate. It was a good day I thought, I didn't stay for the whole game and I didn't see anything too untoward. Would be very disappointed to hear of any reports or send offs for Mitchell Park.

Nat was a very good player for us, the heart and soul of Mitchell Park. Some people get a bit confused with the twins, I still do. Luke is the taller twin and generally plays full forward - #1, Nat is shorter and wears #9 and plays half forward/wing.

Darren quite often talks to other clubs after games. He has a great understanding of football culture and we are very lucky to have him on board. He has implemented some excellent ideas both on and off the field at The Den.

Good luck for the rest of the year, I think BL are the side to beat!

Nothing but respect for this bloke. Both times last season and early on this season he has chatted to us after the game. Always makes a lot of sense and seems like a really good bloke. Hang onto him

Its called making an opinion on her opinion as most others do on here and she did mention me in an earlier post of hers(as i did to her last week in my tips) so i took the bait.

Geez with 25 injuries your team is doing remarkably well!!! Your B grade has good balance, (especially the 3 lads in the guts who run all day and don't mind kicking it long) and is still sitting nicely on 4-3. Could be a winning streak coming up if you get some players back (As long as you don't get them back until after you play us next)

Your A grade did extremely well to not get absolutely demolished after the score at quarter time was 9.9 to 2.0. Ok, so you let 10 go through in the last quarter, but for the 2nd and 3rd quarters your guys were very competitive and strung some nice passages together. I had a feeling it would be a 35 goal to 5 match, so to battle hard all day was admirable.

Big game this week for the Lodge vs West Croydon. Heard of their potent forward line, so will be a big task for the midfield to cut their supply and give our forwards a chance to kick a winning score. Imagine there will be 2-3 back for the Lodge this week, hopefully strengthening up the B Grade in the process. Unlucky for Matty Freil (sp?) on the weekend with his shoulder dramas, will be a big loss.
