I know its off the topic, but i noticed today that Trent Ormond Allen who, as its been mentioned on here is running from Roxby to Adelaide to raise money for cancer has only raised $1300 of his target $5000.

Everyone get on board and help him out, especially you SMOSH boys.

It's a ritual down the port way, they won't leave the peninsula, they'll just jump on the bandwagon of most successful club at the time.

Haven---> Districts ----> Portland. Big circles..

if thats the case FC wouldnt all the Haen and portland boys be on the Districts banwagon cos if you hadnt notice haven have not won a game portland have won one and districts are going the best with 2 wins, your comment doesnt really make sence ;)

Have to agree with Piccachu there FC. A few years back there was a large group of players who jumped from Districts to Haven, mainly B graders who got Haven to a A grade gf.

I would think if they are chasing quick success, then jumping to us or Haven isn't ideal :?

I can assure you no money is being offered on our part to persuade anyone either (just getting in before anyone else ;) )

there wouldnt be any money left at the club thats the only reason why it wont be offered, lipson on his own is geeting more than the salary cap allows which leaves nothing for anyone else ;)

I'll just re-iterate that it's only been in my experiences over the years I spent down that way. One goes, everyone else does too..

I know that this year, no-one down that way is having any on field joy :( ... do you think this may have been different if everyone had stayed where they were? (serious question..)

and Felch... you know Im the last person that would accuse you of enti$ing anyone to a club...

Haha, why does that statement not surprise me Jimmy ?

People do actually live in those things called 'the suburbs'...and some of them are actually normal (well, relatively speaking anyway ;) )

Haven were obviously the big losers from all the player movements this year. They would be in a much better position now if they still had Lipson, Wareing, Forrest, Duerden x2, plus the others they lost to clubs outside the peninsula, no question.

very good question fc, quite obviosly the moves in the area have hurt north haven the most, dont think its effected portland to much and the only possitive effect it has had on districts in the D grade. IMO
