should be a cracker of a day! the roys undefeated and the reds with something to prove against a decent team. also will the be the reunion of the 99' (i think) b-grade premiership team which includes some of the clubs most colourful characters! massive day all in all.
also cant wait to see the Roo and jonny waltham in the same forward 50 again. if the reds can get decent supply to them i can see an upset on the cards! although gonna be a tough day no matter what.

lastly someone from the roys, has chad bourke been playing in the guts or up forward?? i know he normally plays on ball but surely he hasnt kicked 27 goals from out the middle?? he may well be the difference :?:

Teaoby, im not sure where he is playing this year but am fairly sure he kicked 10 goals in a match twice last year from the midfield. He certainly did against Pooraka. Amazing effort.

Chads father was avery handy footballer in his days years and years ago, he has some good pedigree....

Bourkey reads these pages so try not to build him up too much. And just for the record hes a handy right arm slow medium bowler off about 100 paces.

That Noonan was pretty good today. Wouldn't have picked him as a country Vic footballer but he dominated the half back line. Great to see the Roo as a focal point up forward. Can't believe Fitzroy have gone that long without a loss, they didn't look all that impressive today, as with most teams, when a bit of physical pressure was put on them they crumbled.

Unfortunately I went and watched a very strong and disciplined Pooraka pull us apart, winning most if not all positions up and down the park, very dissapointing and IMO would be the worst performance since DR arrived at Greenacres,.

Well done to Pooraka as we cannot possibly offer any escuse such as umpires, injuries or the like.

One word sums up today.. starts with S ends in T with a O and F in no particular order
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

The refreshing thing about Whale is that he plays CHB like the old days. Knows how to punch a ball instead of trying to outmark from behind. And the ball stays punched for a good 20 metres. It was a big day at PAC in front of the Past Players and the boys stepped up. Hard & running football from both sides. Chad Bourke is a class act and I still like watching Benny Hart's skills. Roo's actually not the focal point - he just makes the play when it comes in

Was a hard fast running game at Park 9 & PAOC were too good yesterday against Fitzroy yesterday was still close at 3 qtr time but the Red's over ran the Lions big time in the last to run out comfortable winners to show why most rate them as Premiership Favourites & with Pooraka finding good form over Greenacres is a warning to all Div 4 teams that the when the Red's & the Bull's are on they are the teams to beat.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Haha, nice try roaring Lion. I admire the way you try to take the focus off of the Roys. I agree with PAOC being one of the teams to beat, but one good win from Pooraka does not make us the team to beat. Fitzroy are going to finish top 2 so they are very much there. CBC cannot be forgotten either. They have handed out a fair few beltings in the previous weeks.
As for the Pooraka Greenacres game on the weekend, a very strong second term of 9 goals to one set-up the victory. Greenacres had some smooth movers through the midfield but probably lacked a bit of polish. The highlight of the game for me was in the last quarter when one of our ruckman Lee Coghill pulled a ball out of the air from a boundary throw in and snapped a goal! He then high fived a couple of our players and the Greenacres ruckman he was rucking against! One of the funniest things i've seen on the footy field!
