I think this contributed to the loss due to the complete difference between the league provided alternate strip and our regular one. This really needs to be addressed,or the league need to provide the alternate strip earlier so the team can train in the strip to get a feel for it.

 well thats a different excuse, spose we can use it on the return leg if we get beaten then

I`m surprised that you ever lose a game what with that dogdey old goal umpire of yours. But having said that i know volunteers are at a premium and you have to take what you can get these days. We`ll see what happens in the return leg.good luck. Oh and zed good to see kenilworth brought their A grade game on the weekend.

Ill be the first to admit that we were as surprised as any with the end result. I thought we were shot half way through the last and told my opponent so. Rosewater has got some great talent and should be right up there come finals time. Results have shown that rosies have learnt from the mistake and come the return leg if we get ourselves in the same position we wont be so lucky....

very well said bradman and well played on saturday yourself mate..

less than 12 months ago:

Kenilworth 13.8 86 v Rosewater 7.17 59

grace when winning is an admirable quality which not many teams seem to be able to relate to..ask farmers how we conducted oursleves against them, we showed them respect and were gracious in victory..we know times can change and the wheel dont stop spinning..every "dog" has his day and you guys were far to good for us on saturday..i spent some time talking to some of the old timers at rosewater during and after the game and you need to model yourselves on them pigdog..they were guys who have seen the good and the bad and they complimented our boys on showing discipline and control in trying conditions..both of our clubs are old warhorses and the wise comments from these guys made my day

 geez didn`t realize we were so precious here. I thought a bit of light hearted footy banter would be good for a laugh. How wrong i was, i will make sure all of my future comments are politically correct, and i will be sure to run them by you both, bradman and zed. Thanks for the correction, the only way we can grow as a person is to get and take on board constructive critisism . :D
