This is how i see the ladder after the minor round

BL
CLG
TRINITY
WEST CROYDON
HECTORVILLE
LOCKLEYS
PARALOWIE
MITCHEL PARK
CENTRAL UNITED
GLENUNGA

Anybody think differently

i believe that will be very close mate very close!

you would have BL n CLG in the top two and then trinity, WC, heccies, lockleys n paralowie fighting for 3-5 spots which is gona be extremely close. mitchell park has had a poor first half but i think they wil be the team that can pull some upsets esp if mcdonell bros have a gd day. and CU n glenunga can only hope a team from div 7 doesnt want to go up to stay in div 6.

saying that there is always a few surprise results in the 2nd half of the season with injuries etc

hardly an excuse as since weve had these injuries we have won both games!

thats quite some outs though. ruckman wingers and captain!!
are the daveys and ramseys expected back soon?
are the injuries soft tissue as CLG did a solid pre-season...

Probably not our finest performance, we were a bit undermanned with a few injuries and what not - but i guess that's part and parcel for most teams at this stage. To the boys credit, they kept on trying all day, but we understand where were at as a footy club and can only look to next week which is our biggest test. We'll have a few key inclusions from injury and will be a lot stronger than saturday.

PS - Some real classy sorts in the crowd out at Hectorville. If i remember back a bit, someone was on here having a dig at a few of their onlookers. You were SPOT ON!

told you mate bunch of tools.

They need to have a serious look at themselves, otherwise no-one within the league will respect them.

Geez, are you blokes serious?! :? A little lip service/jeering from some b graders/supporters which was all in a bit of fun and in no way spiteful and we are all of a sudden the worst club in the SAAFL. Of course there is going to be some sort of reaction when your A grade kicks the ball out on the full right in front of the clubrooms on 5-6 ocassions throughout the game. You need to take life a little less seriously.

WestIndiesWonder24 wrote:Your crowd was pretty inappropriate two, heard a lot of negative chants out on the ground about the other team, Glenunga arent the best but out there having a go every saturday and negative comments isn;t in the spirit of football I think all users would agree....

Number 20 was copping a pasting and he was just having a dip all day so I think your crowd was one of worst crowds we have played against this season......Its all good supporting your team but jeering and inapropriate comments....Clubs are better than that.......

Some people definitely need to lighten up a little! From what I observed, it was only Number 20 who was copping it from the crowd. He originally copped a light-hearted bronx cheer after kicking OOF and proceeded to turn around and give the crowd a foul-mouthed spray. Not surprisingly, the crowd gave it to him whenever he went near it for the rest of the day. It was all fairly light-hearted banter.

IMO if you are gonna give a bit of lip service you gotta be tough enough to take it back. If I gave a spray to the crowd, I would fully expect to cop it back for the rest of the day, particularly if I continued to shank my kicks in front of the clubhouse all day!

Other than that, I heard numerous spectators comment that Glenunga were giving it 100% even if they were copping a bit of a towelling on the scoreboard.

Word has it Glenunga is getting a once off gun recruit 4 a game in a few weeks time, special permission has been allowed for this player, and should tear it up.

wouldnt surprise me. i think there was a story about this last yr when they were playing houghton? to stay in div 6 and they had registered past players and might of played them. there was even word they flew someone to play the game.

no doubt this would be for the game against CU.
