Yeah just checked, he did play for Pulteney B grade last week. I assume there is only one Matt McPhail in the league :?
The GSFL website shows he was cleared to Kenilworth FC but obviously they have made an error. Oh well, he gets to play against the kookas then next week.

9116 MCPHAIL M VICTOR KENILWORTH SAAFL 28/05/2009 cleared 29/05/2009
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

That's OK - Pulteney are used to playing unregistered players

I can confirm we have picked up a recruit with the name M.McPhail from a team in the GSFL and it would have been around that time as he wanted to play a week earlier but didn't fill out the paper work in time.

heard a rumor, the Norwood coach will get the sack in the next couple of weeks, and Nathan Bassett will take over... I'm assuming Perrie will follow (thats my opinion).......... were will that leave Pulteney??? will they struggle without them??? or are they more then a 2 man club????? What does everyone else reckon???

I thought that and it would leave a huge hole at Pulteney. Not so much Bassett because he hasnt played too many, Perrie for their structures up forward particularly forward ruckwork would be damaging i reckon.

Perrie will NOT follow Bass if that is to happen. Both when playing have contributed each week but they are not the standouts. In fact Sarge has been very dirty on his performances the last 2 games and has admitted that he needs to improve.

think it is. If I wasn't sure why would I be asking where you got your information from.

I know for a fact that Perrie can not commit to the training load of a SANFL footballer any more due to business commitments and that is why he quit Sturt after only 1 season into a 2 year contract. So why would he go back and give up on his business which is still in its infant stage and requires plenty of hours to keep it off the ground
