Only thing I'll say is that he was at our awards at 7.30pm and then he went and saw Chad Quinn in hospital - who'd broken his collarbone - so it would be a fair bet that even if he'd only been with Chad for an hour he still wouldn't have gotten home until after 11.00pm

the event im talking bout was sunday lunch, wasnt saturday night mate

My apologies then.

Fair dinkum...... I don't think I've played AGAINST as many clubs as this bloke appears to have PLAYED FOR !!!
Do you reckon he wakes up Saturday morning and occasionally gets confused as to which shorts and socks to grab out of his draw ?? Do you think he has ever driven to the wrong oval because he has forgotten which club he is actually playing for this week ??

Trent Thorpe did his knee last week so that definately rubs him out for a long time. Disappointing for Kangarilla as they will really struggle but even more so for Trent, wish him well in his recovery.

I heard Twomeys concussion wasnt too bad, had a shot for goal after talking a good grab just before half time then all of a sudden a no show after half time. Speaking to some of the Nairne boys, they didnt even know what had happened.

Just found out some very big news, Kangarilla legend Trent Thorpe is due for a knee reconstruction next tuesday. In my opinion that is a huge loss to the double blues, trent is one of the best players in the comp and a key player in the Kangarilla side!
Good luck to Trent, great bloke both on and off the feild.

Now other players are really going to have to step up and play just as hard as Trent does every week..

Am certainly sorry to hear that.
Happened in a marking contest only 10 metres from yours truly but i'm not sure if it was a knock of knees or when he landed.
Was bad day at Kangy for injuries with that, a broken collarbone and an AC joint.

I think if Kangys are able to string a few more wins together this year, he may be a smoky for the mail medal, especially now seeing Trent Thorpe will not be taking any votes of him and Wakeys indifferent start to the season.

Can anyone confirm if student of the game SJ is still head coach of Maccy?
I was watching my beloved Doggies chase the Double Blues around the park yesterday, when I noticed the super coach sitting alongside league coach Luke Norman in the coaches box.
Is this a one off or a mentoring role from the Sturt head coach?
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

id say that SJ would be getting paid the big bucks to mentor Luke Norman. Apparently Neil Craig has been trying to get him in as well...
