only 1 out of 5 in the plaace bets... but a divie of $4.50 so no damage..... Pool now at $563.50
Making The ROad ran well as stated, Sea Zulu was never on the track and the others were slightly dissapointing.

I HAVE a few more good bets for this arvo. Had 3 on friday they all ran money but were rather short, maybe go all up to get some value.

SCONE - 5 - 2

LEETON 6 - 1

KYNETON 6- 9

I think it is a tough day today.......... Leeton is one of those places where you should just not bet. I know nothing about the track, the fields are quite small and the betting markets there will be weak. Probably a place to follow a top jockey or trainer but that is all.

Finally Kyneton looks a bit better but I actually fancy opposing some of the likely favourites there today. Matbe betfair might be an option......

It's not a difficult decision to just leave today alone. There'll be much better opportunities for us later this week......... stay tuned GRUB

I dont mean to interupt this thread again with my lack of betting understanding, but are you talking about that lay option on betfair here? It seems like with the lay you either win small or lose big. Is that right?

So.... laying is betting on a team/player/animal losing .. yeah?
How do the odds work ?

(I have a betfair account, maybe I should read?)

AS you would know you get to put in how much you are prepared to risk with BETFAIR per race.

If you LAY something other then your mrs, then you are saying that that horse, team, dog CANT WIN!!!!!
an example would have been race 1 at ANGLE PARK tonight i thought there were only 2 chances, they ran the quinella, yet there was a FAV on the TOTE that ran unplaced as it should have done. If i had of seen that and been on my BETFAIR account i would have put up better odds then the tote and let everyone get on.

I think you set what odds you are prepared to offer along with how much you are prepared to risk on a certain outcome.

does that help?

And you can only win if someone takes your odds.

And if THEy win - you owe them ?

Isn't that risky ?!?!
