I may wander out onto the oval at some stage mate.

What about your good self? I'll assume you're coming in for a beer afterward?

I wonder what instigated this decision??

I dont believe he was happy with getting moved all over the ground and getting dragged for no reason, things like that?!
correct me if wrong, some people may have heard other things!!

You got to be kidding, does he know the bench is vertually another position these days with the rotations? playing a variety of positions is a good thing for a young lad, the more positions you can play the more beneficial you are to your side & theres nothing better than a team thats very flexible.
Unless its not about TEAM with him.

I feel as though I must take this opportunity to congratulate the Woody South FC for the way they conducted themslves yesterday. The "B" grade umpire lived up to expectations, the time keeper was punctual and accurate, and to drop the beer prices to only $6.00 a stubby was much appreciated. The only down side was the mysterious dissappearance of our brand new match ball before it was even used. Thanks fellas for a great day. Sorry one more kudos, thanks to the club for stepping in and diffusing a situation in the "B" grade game when one of your spectators manhandled one of our players behind the goals at the southern end during the third quarter and threatended to glass him. Again thanks.

NM, both you and I know that Goodies don't pay so what's in it for him do you think?
Isn't Goodies where his old man coached for a while, might be the reason + the money

josh is a good mate of mine and i had lengthy discussions about what he was doing with his footy before this has all happened, josh signed a while back at potland as his back up club to the magpies, he has been back to our club just about every saturday night to have a beer with us after his games and last week at the club told us he was quitting ports so he could come back and play with all his mates at portland.

he trained tuesday and thursday with us at the same time telling all the boys he was playing ra ra ra with no discussions of money, untill last night after training and after a feed with us all asked what he would be getting paid and when told the amount, he pretty much picked up his bag and left, the club recieved a phone call from goodes mins later. doesnt sound like a bloke who wanted purely to play with his mates, just my oppinion though

With what I'm hearing he'll be requested to go back to Ports, seems they are on the rampage about losing young lads and are pulling out all stops to get them back, even suspension is being mentioned.

That makes a change, a couple of weeks ago he started the third qtr without woodville south out there and it cost them 2 goals.
From what i have seen of him he just has no idea at all and generally is bad to both teams, allthough on the weekend there was some decisions towards the cats that i was shaking my head at.

The Para Hills umpire was also heard 3 or 4 times telling the cats players that he was purposely cheating to keep the game even so i guess it worked both ways on the weekend.

Para Hills players and officials were disgracefull after the siren went.

The Woody South B grade umpire is not a cheat, just has no idea whatsoever. He is very good at making guys go back on their mark, and ensuring all boundary umps are standing in the right place, but doesnt know anything about the trivial stuff like holding-the-ball, push-in-the-back and head-high tackles...

From what i have been told, Woodville South are trying to find someone to replace him but as all clubs know it is hard to find umpires and sometimes you just have to take whoever puts there hand up.

Encounter Bay M Cox 1 goal

Just another club shirt to add to the pile! Encounter Bay Eagles, royal and gold, I wonder if he's already got one of those?
Looks as though the facts were correct. I wonder how long this stint will last, I'm taking bets it won't be all season!
You wouldn't ever guess what's happened, he's gone to Bridgewater. Oh my goodness, will he ever run out of clubs. Did anyone take me up on this, if so, PAY UP!
I thought he was playing at kersbrook? :?
Yeah it's one of the two but the fact still remains, the blokes a <EDIT> and clubs continue to throw him a lifeline, how bloody stupid are they!
I've got another idea, maybe Kersbrook one week and Bridgy the next on an alternate basis, now that sounds more likely to suit him! ;)
