As I have said in earlier posts if we do make the grand final we will go up to div6 coz they are the rules the club knows that and so do the players. In regards to that we have 9 blokes that played in our gf side last year that arent playing this year and 2 or 3 are up playing in the bgrade so we did not know what we were going to have available to us this year in the end we had players jumping outa trees to come play for us and now have 19-25 blokes missing out each week.

I also share the opion of most of you that the top 4 is setteled how the order will pan we know after round 14
rd 12 vs Houghton@ Houghton big game
rd 13 st pauls @home on the weekend of div1 bye should be big crowd whoever wins that finishes top
rd 14 Athelstone@Athelstone

3 big weeks for us if we win all obviously top but could also go as far down as 4 so no certainties
Out of the other teams I believe 5th will be between SHOC and Flinders
I hope Nth Pines and Ovingham can both pick up a few wins on the way home coz they have been competetive in most games this year

As for the medal Ive see all teams this year for us maybe a few contenders Dave Loveder and Tom Pittman will be right up there but from what ive read in papers and on here and his BOG performance against us I think Lockky Kennett from St Pauls definate favourite at the moment

Really? when i played out at henley a few years ago he was a pretty average player imo. No disrespect to the bloke at all he was a great bloke, but has he really improved over the past few seasons or playing a new position?

Wow, well full credit too him then, no doubt he had some potential but underachieved i think. Glad to hear that he is playing well.

Our player that was up at the tribunal tonight got 9 games starting this week. This means that if either the B grade or A grade make the finals he will be available. Probably a fair outcome for what actually happened.

What happened? Surely fair is not a comment that is associated with a 9 game suspension
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

And someone (on the Div 6 thread I think) described Dutchy as being part of a pacey Paralowie midfield.

He goes good, but I'm not sure that adjective would've been used to describe Dutchy too often. Was he holding back in the Mallee Carey? :D

Im not gonna go through what happenned all over again but he was reported for squirting water at the umpire and knocking the umpires hat of his head twice. It was silly and when you say what he actually done it does not seem like a lot, but you can not touch an umpire in any form. With the penalties that have been handed out recently we were expecting the worst.

I doubt they would stack their side, the regulars in their B Grade would appreciate the week off. I think you'd find that those four or five fringe players that alternate with each other between the B's and C's would just all end up playing that week, making the Henley side only slightly stronger, but not much different.

St Paul's v Athelstone - Should be a good contest, both battling for that 2nd spot....we owe them from round 1 made us look ordinary, if we're switched on hopefully we should win.

Ovingham v Sacred Heart - Small ground will be enough here, SHOC like to run and find space and this will not happen at Cane Reserve.

Houghton v Flinders Uni - Too strong at home, potent attack which should kick another big score.

Adelaide Uni v Henley - Henley by plenty!

North Pines v Angle Vale - In red hot form, can't go past them...Big Favotti to kick another bag.

St Paul's v Athelstone - I agree with Riddler and should be a good contest as long as Athelstone show up with there A game. I think Athelstone are not at there strongest at the moment but will always be dangerous.

Ovingham v Sacred Heart - Im backing Nuggety in here. Ambo to have his first win

Houghton v Flinders Uni - Play there home ground superbly. Should win comfortably

Adelaide Uni v Henley - Will be far to strong. The B grade game should be a cracker. Maybe this week they should start the A grade game at 12:15 and the B Grade have the late game with time on 8)

North Pines v Angle Vale - Hopefully the boys dont settle for one win and now that they have the taste of winning they continue there hard work.
