strANGLE PARK 21/9/06 + greyhound gossip

Postby mal » Wed Sep 20, 2006 11:06 pm

PROMOTION STARTING 21/9/06
------------------------------------

AG promotions will run for a 7 week period starting 21/9/06.
Happy hour between 6pm-7pm, includes FREE admission to
the track and for $8 you can buy a burger, chips and stubby
of Tooheys extra dry.
On course comp for a $50 betting voucher if you have a TAB punt.
All finals nights there will, be amusments and free kiddies rides.
The promotion will end November 2nd.

MALS VERDICT : A fantastic innovation by the club which hopefully
will stimulate attendances to Strangle Park.
And with 2 excellent bookies betting low percentages there is a
glimmer of hope.
The $8 food + drink offer is a disgrace however[crapp food]
A good looking young girl would not have that offer for free.
Only Hunk Rooster, Mutchy Dutchy, Malnutrition, Massive
Tiger and Baloonbellybayman would take the offer!

BOTHING + ITZZZZZZZZZA BEE
-------------------------------------

BOTHNG trialled on a wet track at Richmond and pulled up sore
with a tear in a pin muscle.
The Bothing camp have said that a stud career or a return from
injury are the options, it is understood that whatever occurs first
will be the decision.
ITZZZZZZZZZA BEE who ran 2nd to Bothing in the dist. championship
trialled at Wentworth Park in preperation for the Paws of Thunder
100,000 race.
My favourite dog trialled in 5-16...14-32....30-34 a good trail after
jumping poorly and nose diving out of boxes.

SEMI FINALS OF THE OAKS
-------------------------------

Some sensational young pups from Victoria are gracing the AP circuit.
Heats were run last wednesday, the winners included:
MISS MINI MOUSE 29-39[ you can buy this dog for $40k I believe]
BECKYS ANGEL 29-64[best dog in Australia ?]
PURE BURST 29-60
LEPRECHAUN PACE 29-34

SA best chance is SPRINGVALE SNOW but its times are 8 lengths slower.

PREVIEW + odds needed
----------------------------

We found a few winners monday night, so here we try again

R2-6 SKULL MURPHY ran a sizzling 29-83 at its 1st race start in a maiden
a repeat of that would make it hard to beat, WIN [$1-60]

R3-7 RINGA DING FLING impreesed 2nd start in SA and worth following
until the inevitable happens, they race the guts outa of it WIN [$2-20]

R5-8 MISS MINI MOUSE RAN AMAZING 29-39 heat win ran 4-44 to the post
a sizzling 16-70 off the back and 12-69 run home which is quick, this
Brett Lee pup looks hard to beat WIN [$1-50]

R6-2 BETTYS ANGEL heres a dog I declared as the best dog in Australia
after its first 4 runs , and then lost its next 3 at Cranbourne.
I talked to a kennell authority who said it did not handle Cranbourne.
was smashed outa boxes and still ran 29-64 WIN [$1-50]

R7 match race [3] PURE BURST 29-60 + [7] LEPRECHAUN PACE 29-34
LEP PACE ran the quickest heat time but wide draw ? prefer the 3 WIN[$2-50]

R9-6 GUNNIE badly outa form, but there is a distinct lack of early pace
in the race and this dog might fluke the lead EW [$4-20]

R10-7 JUMBO FORREST 3 runs for 3 wins at 600m WIN [$1-60]

LOts of good dogs and the best meeting at headquarters for ages
and free admission between 6pm-7pm to boot.

DUTCHYS DISHLICKERS TREBLE
-------------------------------------

8/2/37 A very cheap investment indeed

For those who want to go wide here are my selections in winning order

87213546 [7] obvious danger
28346157 if [2] gets beaten , very open race
37548162 if 3/7 get beaten, open race.

Good luck all, sorry about the brief preview.

MY PREVIEW AS REQUESTED my odds + comments + ODDS AT 120%
-----------------------------------------------------------

1 MISS BROOK [$3-50 ]was having its 3rd run in a week 2nd to Miss Grub at Lismore
the small field and draw suits , sure to go very close.

3 MISS GRUB[$4-50] walks out so the small field helps, sure to go very well.

5 QUIDAME[$31] will go very fast and lead clearly but this is its first run at the 700m+
since April this year, I think it will collapse with 100 m to go, big risk.

7 LUCYS LIGHT[$1-40] With Quidame at least keeping Miss Brook away from
leading means Lucy should run these down, looks the winner.

LUCYS LIGHT : Miss Brook: Miss Grub: Quidame

PS DUTCHY stop trolling my dog ITZZZZZZZZZZZZZZA B grader.
As for the dog being a sprinter now, shall we ring the best trainer in Australia and ask him why

If Miss Brook can pinch 3or 4 lengths on LL.... it will hold her out... value should be $3 IMHO

well this is a little tougher then monday night when the winners stood out.

1 - 5 is from vic, not a reject as trainer has runners in the oaks. looks tough to beat. the 4 should be a good place chance. 1,2 are consistent in their times.

2 - 6 should be winning on its maiden win, 1 looks second pick from the draw and the 3 can also fill a place.

3 - 1 looks to be a good place bet, not the quickest beginner but does run home ok and the rails should suit.

4 - interesting race with a few quick beginners and if a couple dont lead then they are finished. the 1 went really good time last start in 29.77 should be tough to beat, up slightly in grade.

5 - HEAT 1 of the OAKS now we see some quality aniMALs. 8 Miss Mini Mouse went 29.39 last start and should be tough to beat. 7 Sonador went ok last start from box 8 and then 2 Springvale Snow will be slow out and motoring home along the fence.

6 - HEAT 2 this is a 2 dog war with 2 BETTYS ANGEL and 3 ABBADALE AFFAIR, the 2 should be winning and the 3 should run second.

7 - well another 2 dog war with 3 PURE BURST and 7 LEPRECHAUN PACE, the 7 went 4 lengths quicker then the 3 last start. the 3 wasnt the best to begin last week, but if it jumps and leads clearly it will be tough to run down.

8 - 5 QUINYANA went ordinary at GAWLER last start and the mail I got was that it has had enough and may need a break as it appeared to have every chance. 1 Rellim Thomas looks hard to beat from the good draw.

9 - 5 moral assassin looks the best of these and with any sort of luck should just be winning.

10 - not a bad race here with a couple of nice animals. ill go wit the 3 YOUNG JUNIOR it should be placed, should jump well and hold a first 3 position throughout.

11 - 7 BOBS BREAK went 30:04 from the 8 last start and that run will see it winning again. the 4 MOOSE MASTER can run a place and if the 8 jumps it can be right there.

BETFAIR DOGS

Postby mighty_tiger_79 » Thu Sep 21, 2006 4:58 pm

well re-assessing the form for race 1, the 5 is probably down in grade in coming over from melbourne but its strike rate worries me 2 wins from 24, but 9 seconds so it may not like to run past.

race 7 id be risking 7 Leprechaun Pace, even though it has a superior time to the 3

8 - risk the 5 if it comes up short

Lads

heres mine for tonight -

R4/1 e/w
R8/3 Win
R9/5 Place
R10/3 PLace and if you can get $2.30+ back the 7 to win - just needs to lob in first 3
R11/4 e/w special - massive drop in grade

Treble 8/2/3 simple (or go the all up to get more value) - risking the 7 in the last leg to get some value, also think the 3 aint too far off the 7

the big race in BG tonight I think Lucy will win, Miss Brook for 2nd - the other 2 are worth laying on BETFAIR

BG treb 12467/124/127
MG treb 4/1/3

Midcity Mandy is a certaintiy tonight, unfortuately we wont see black figures

good luck

NOSTRAmalDAMUS has predicted several weeks ago that the best
dog in Australia is BETTYS ANGEL..
The champ ran 29-17 whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh
I reckon thats the 3rd quickest time at the track.
BETTYS ANGELS dad BRETT LEE holds the record at 28-88.

Drew box 8 in the final.

that was handy race 1 - 5 was even money and unplaced

race 7 - 7 never in it

8 - 5 ran 3rd but it was decent odds so you wouldnt bother risking it.
