  your funny!!!! its amazing hoiw good you guys think you are... obviously you guys can play, but c'mon were do you get off saying you'd win... you have no idea..... so your telling me you'd guys would knock off shocs B's who are currently 2nd in div 1 and iv seen 1st hand that they are very good side???????????

Im gonna do it again and stick up for the BL boys. You know what I find funny. Its that I am sure that last year everybody was saying to these BL boys "keep your heads up", "dont give up" and "its people like use that build a club that stick around in the tough times" etc etc but now that they have done what I'm sure most clubs in there position last year were dreaming of doing people want to bring them down. So what if they think they can take on the world. The majority of them deserve to come on here and say how good they are, its probably been along time since they have had this success. Keeping a lid on it playing div 6 is almost unheard of. Geez if we can turn our club around like they have next year I will be shouting it from the roof tops.
So I say Good work to the BLFC for getting there club in the position it is now. =D>

iam rapt to see BL do good, especially after what they were 2 years ago.... My club has been in that exact situation few years back... However when we started winning again, we didn't go off and make ridiculous claims about beating a D1R team sand still wouldn't now... we didn't go round say were going win the GF, we just played... Every one second on here we hear how good you are. Have some class when you win and be able to take some criticism, one person has a joke on here bout them and you better get out the tissues....

Geez you talk some shit, i cant find on here anywhere that a BL "PLAYER" has said they will win the gf, if anyone has said this i am sure it would only be spectators etc. giving their opinions , good on them for turning the club around.

Thats what I was going back to try and find out Geeskip. As has been said if you dont want to hear about BL either dont read the div 6 forum or get the other teams from div 6 to start posting.

theres no proof saying we can not beat div 1R, i believe it personally that we could.. i asked who people think will win the flag this year and of course the BL boys will say there own team.. whats the point in playing if you are not playing for a flag..

have not seen any one from BL come on here and say how good we are.. people from BL ask how do other teams think we are going because we wont to improve and of course people
want to see there names come up if they are doing well..

we are confident and why shouldnt we be..

last time i checked we beat Plympton that year we went down also..

you guys are doing well and i would think you would be confident in beating another teams B grade side..

not here to make enemies just having a point of view and you come on here and be a smartarse and bag us guys..

In regards to all posters on this current thread, I dont believe browny actually called any1 anything.
If you have a look at his original post it is just a Question reffering to someone being delusional. He could have however wrote delusional? or positive minded? then it could be clarified to a greater extent.
I sometimes think my mates are delusional when they say the power are going to belt some team this week or whatever, but sometimes these results do happen!
Last time i checked our game tomorrow doesnt start at BL 100 V Glenunga 0, so anything can and will happen!

Good luck to the glenunga guys tomorrow i hope you's do put in a good game, and to our lads lets put 4 quarters together for Bri this week ey?

heccies lost by 3 points in A grade. 1st quarter playing against a strong wind and heccies were up by 3-4 goals. then we didnt score in 2nd n 3rd quarter. down by just over 2 goals in last quarter and managed to tie things up but thats as close as we got. veri poor goal kicking by both teams. good contest. plenty of pressure

well done to Bs. came from behind to win by 3 points.

div 6

Postby pfranny » Sat Jun 20, 2009 7:01 pm

great clash today at motlock park. it really is a pleasure to play in games like that. both teams played with a high intensity and great pressure. the umpires made some terrible decisions going both ways but what can you do in div 6. i would have to say that harvey is prob the most over rated player in div 6 there is a good 5 or 6 players in that team that are a lot better good luck to clg for the rest of the year

he probably didnt hav his best game ever but imo he is our best player; quick, take a good mark and decent skills, kicked a very good goal after the 3 quarter time siren to giv clg the momentum heading into the last. hav to agree with you about the umpiring, i thought they were going to ruin the game by giving more poor decisions while the game was close.

Me and Bartman are having the discussion now.....for what its worth, I think the good div 6 sides would beat some of the div1R sides. BL, CLG and Heccies would all give them a go. Going by the players that have left our club, and where they are playing now, i think they'd put on a good show!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!
