I'd say we would have won if we werent robbed by the umpires!! They were disgraceful on Saturday.
But yes if those boys were playing we would have been better off. You take the two leading goalkickers and two best midfielders out of any side and its gonna be a different ball game. But we let ourselves down with not making the most of our opportunities and wasting the footy. Credit to CLG who just kept persisting all day and did enough to win in the end.

And yes, Jules has been playing A's for the last 3-4 weeks.

okay cool, be good to play against him again, missed out last time because he was in the two's.. yes defintly i thought disiel is a good player thought he played really well against us.. so are they defintly out this week? Lodge to have a few back from injuries

The one that played two's is his brother- b grade is peter, a grade is danny.

You take harvey, dalby, carey and visser out of your side and the equation is totally different. Not making excuses at all just saying it would of been nice to have those players available. We should have won on saturday anyway, but in the end we didnt which means we werent good enough- simple.

Couldn't agree more Payney has done very well as he did at EPFC as a player and a coach. All the lads that went were all good blokes and I hope they all go well and buy me a beer next sat when i come down for a look.

I think only 4 players played in the losing GF (Travis Mckee, Nathan Scott, Hooters and Solly the baby car seat breaker......LOL). There were 4-5 that played in the B grade final. Also 3 blokes from angle vale, 1 from SFL, 1 from Plains league. I think thats about all. I think payney was lucky to get guys who are just keen to get back together and play some footy for fun. I think you will find in the next coming week most of these players will sign on again for next year. Hopefully we can win 4 more games to get a double chance. Then after that anything, and i mean anything, can happen. I think the club is moving in the right direction and hopefully with 2 junior teams this year it will only expand in the near future to a full list of juniors at the tigers. I apologise if anybody see this me gloating about BL

Yeah that's the obvious challenge- attracting quality footballers to BL without the lure of cash. Haven't been able to do it in the past, but good luck to them and hope all turns out well in the next 3-4 yrs.

I think its funny that all the people out there think it's all about the mighty dollar. I can tell you of all the blokes that payney recruited not many would be under the age of 28. I think you will find that once blokes get on in there career its all about just having a kick and catch with mates. I ask all people from your club how much would you pay out to players on a weekly basis? COme on put up or shut up in regards to the money issue.

Can i also add that i missed the round 2 fixture and have not looked forward to a game as much as i have this week. I will be wearing number 15 oon the weekend MYPADDOCK so come over and introduce yourself. After last weekends game could be the early match.
