As i said in an earlier post, I thought there was massive upside for IF. Young and detremined now just need to bolster the ranks. I personally was impressed by what i saw.

Subject: SAAFL Divison 5

To the Ingle Farm Football Club Committee:

I would just like to congratulate the Club on the way that they conducted themselves on Saturday.

Not wishing to sound patronising, as regardless of final score line in the A Grade, the commitment, enthusiasm and even enjoyment was clear for all to see.

We finished last in Div 4 last year so can appreciate how tough it is to keep spirits up.

Having played ********* previous and seeing how quickly they raised the white flag, and comparing that to the energy of your club it showed a marked difference.

That may not win you games but it can certainly build strength and resolve in a club.

You will cop rubbish from those outside, ignore it and keep supporting your kids. You have got some good ones.

Good luck for the rest of the Year.

Regards,

Andrew McRitchie

Pulteney Football Club Chairman

Andrew McRitchie

The respect given Ingle Farm is well earnt. They're not getting the result, but the way they went about their footy against us was great as well.

yeah, as he patronises one club from his position of powerful dominance he slags another off...i bet the white flag was raised plenty of times last year by mcritchie and co yet how quickly they forget..

no need to blank out the name of the club..it says he played them the week before so its kenilworth..what a pathetic way to pass on praise by degrading another club at the same time..and some fall for it and think hes a great guy..its condescending clap trap from wealthy college boys

we have all commended ingle farm this year on their efforts..so why rubbush another club to get his so called point across?
is kenilworth travelling any better than ingle farm? besides the fact we beat them in the first rd,i dont think they are..so how exactly does he calculate a "white flag"?..does he know anything about selection that week?..or the 3 guys who played in both games that day?..or the fact we had only 2 guys 6ft and above..they totally outclassed us as the scores show..but to say we threw up the white flag is utter cr4p from a silver spooner who has "bought" a premiership threat this year

Bassett: as he took himself off the ground 3 minutes before half time with only 7 possesions " i cant believe they are tagging me..this is bullsh1t"..no..whats bullsh1t is you playing in div 5 with perrie and expecting to get an armchair ride every game..so we should just let you roam around and have a clinic?? LOL..its like a year 12 maths student sitting for a year 7 maths test..yeah hes gunna get 10/10 but who gives a f***

previous is the word used, as in "the week before"..not previously as you try to say

pre⋅vi⋅ous  /ˈpriviəs/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [pree-vee-uhs] Show IPA
–adjective 1. coming or occurring before something else; prior: the previous owner.

you have the original email so confirm who it is you blanked out..but we know the answer already

Firstly the email was addressed to the Ingle Farm FC Committee, not to an open forum so I dont think he is having a pot shot at any other club as he probably only expected it to be seen by Ingle Farm people. He was comparing what he saw and probably what the players felt. Its clearly struck a nerve with you which would indicate to some truth to his comment or else you would laugh it off as being wrong.

This is a stupid argument. IO it's obvious they are talking about us,no need to be naieve and be a smartass about it. Unfortunatly they gave us a belting, I witnessed it and to be honest I was gutted by it. However if they chose to call us weak and gutless (Which is what they were implying) well we can't take that away from them. We have no argument as the scoreboard suggests and we need to learn as a club to see that never happens again. Time will tell to see if we learn and improve, unfortunatly we have to cop it on the chin. We did have a better game on the weekend, need wins though. Maybe we can get back on track this week, I sure hope so :D

Bit touchy Zed...
Agree it was probably not necessary to bring another club into it but I'm sure his intentions were good.

well maybe it should have stayed in the hands of the IF committee then, who gave interested observer the ok to post it on here and then censor it?...he made a cheap shot on our club whilst talking condescending bs to ingle farm..its all there in black and white..oh and of course you know all the history between pulteney and us i guess?..no?..oh well..thats another story then

I dont think they were talking about kenilworth zedman.
As kenilworth has 10 letters and the missing word has been substituted by 9 stars
my understanding is they usually replace a letter with a star meaning that it is a club with 9 letters in there name??

its all dependant on how many stars the original poster put in there and that could be any amount..he is saying the previous week when we lost by 30 goals to them, the week before us they won by 10 goals and the week before they lost to rosies..so yes it was us..as i said before..int obsever can repost and dont censor it this time..was there something to hide?..even the original posting by int observer shows he knew what was written on there was the wrong thing to do so he deleted the team mentioned on there..why did he delete it? :)

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

its mcritchies call to write what ever he wants but it was interested observers decison to paste it all here on a public forum, so my posts are directed at him..i couldnt care less what mcritchie writes in private..we all have opinions but just remember what is said in an email stays in it and it can end up in a forum such as this, and mcritchie had no hesitation in using our club as some sort whipping boy for his "praise" of ingle farm..cheap weak shot from, as he so aptly says.."a club who endured a horror div 4 in 2008" and should know better
