Still standing by the no train, no play policy. Hence the reason we started the B grade game with only 1 on the bench last week.

Fisty to coach this weekend ;)

You may as well look to coaching mate, you dont seem to be making a comeback to the playing field any time soon...

SMOSH West Lakes v Para Hills - will just sneak over the line
Mitcham v Scotch OC - despite Scotch being much improved since last time, we should be able to get the points at home after 3 weeks against top 4 teams.
St Peter's OC v Old Ignatians - SPOC = far too good
Salisbury v Woodville South - Salisbury = far too poor.
Portland v Walkerville - Should win comfortably.

Woodville over Salisbury - 12 goals - real percentage booster!
Parahills over SMOSH - 6 goals - get the feeling SMOSH will struggle to keep in touch with the top 3
SPOC over Iggies - 12 goals - another real percentage booster!
Mitcham Over Scotch - 6 goals - Mitcham to strong at home
Walkerville over Portland - 9 goals - should be a good battle of the midfielders but walkerville's run and tall's around the ground will be too much for portland

Very sad news tonight from Thunder Park...

Fisty out for 12 months with torn ACL - full reco required.

Only took him 6 weeks to finally get it looked at  . His remedy up until now was to drink a 30 pack of red cans every Saturday !!!

I am being serious by the way (about the ACL, not the red cans, but he does go close)

Division 3 will be less of a place without the great man.

Sounds like a bad night all round, we had another 7 changes in the A Grade tonight with injury/unavailability to add onto the list we already had, plus another couple out of the B Grade. Think the Bs and Cs are going with only 20 so the Ds can field a side, and they still only had 17 named at this stage.

Its the second ACL we have had this year, and we are waiting on the results of tests on 2 other knee injuries to key players. Injuries are starting to bite deep - we have had a reasonable run until now. We are going to pay for not putting more wins on the board when we were close to full strength i feel.
