Can anyone from Rosewater confirm or deny the rumour that was told to me last night? It is said that the club will fold next year. I hope that this isnt the case as its the club where i first ever touched the footy. Have got great memories (kicked my first ever goal) and mates even family that still play there. Sorry if it has already been spoken about on here and put to rest but when i was told i didnt really believe it. I did hear it last year and never heard about it again until last night. What i was made aware of was the council have not been paid by the club at all for any rates and so on and thats why it came up last year. If this is true, is that the main reason? or is it something else? I would like to know because it is a great club and has some great people there and it still has centimental value.

Not that I am aware of, I dont think they would be discussing new clubrooms with architects and govt if they weren't going to be around...

haha
My understanding Rosewater Fc dont owe the Council a cent
Would be one of very few clubs that dont!

Club not going anywhere
We have between 10 and 15 miss out every week even with injuries
Even talk of a C grade which i reckon has not happened in 10 years or so

Few years ago they were struggling but going ok now
Some like to say Arrogant, I like to say confident.

 Yes this does come up quite a bit.(every year as a matter of fact) let me put it to bed, council get paid, we don`t have a bill in the world, other than ongoing expenses(elect, booze and the like) we are in the black and have been for quite a few years now. Will be some big new`s regarding the club coming up soon, watch this space. Have a very good committee at the moment and moving forward(slowly). ;)

Whilst the Cains clan drink there 4 days a week, i doubt Rosewater will fold... They seem to have lots of money there. They must have lots of cash to be able to pay players like Bradman big dollars...

Did Fishhook end up playing for Rosies?

ROSEWATER to beat Blackfriars......Rosies would be filthy after last week and will bounce back at home.
ELIZABETH to beat Ingle Farm.......so we can hear duncs beating their drum again.
PLYMPTON to beat Pulteney........they were very impressive last week and wouldnt mind watching this one.
HOPE VALLEY to beat Westminster.........Westminster missing about 10 on a Bali trip.
KENILWORTH to beat Smithfield.........Zedman to reveal himself to LM with a big smile.
Thats what im talkin aboooouuuut!!!!!!

"seen all 9 teams now..heres my odds for the flag

pulteney 12/10
plympton 15/10
rosewater 3/1
hope valley 6/1
blackfriars 10/1
westminster 25/1
elizabeth 40/1

hard to seperate the top two but just gave it to pulteney..perhaps their result is fresher in my mind..if rosies get to second place and get a home final at the right time it may help get them into a GF and div 4

final relegation spot to be decided saturday week when we play smithfield..and the way we are going it will probably be us

que sera sera"

huh pigdog? :(
i think we are fully aware of what awaits !
